Very close to the sea and the town as well, nice walking distance, just a short part of it along a busy road. The hosts were friendly and accommodated my need to stay in a room that cannot be directly entered into if you open the window. I had booked a studio, which happened to be on the ground floor. The description of the studio did not mention that the window (sliding glass door) opens directly into the garden and anyone could enter in the night, if one sleeps with an open window. I told the hosts that I did not feel safe to sleep in it. They changed my room after the second night, and put me on a higher floor with balcony. This was a nice gesture.

In addition to the lack of safety on the ground level of the house, the room looked dated and the furniture worn out. I wouldn't mind all this if at least the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the mattress in that ground floor studio was very worn out and the metal springs were hurting my back very badly. In the second room the mattress was a bit newer, but still very hard and I could feel hard bumps. The furniture looked fresh in the upper floor room: the hosts are obviously making efforts to renovate the house, but they should have started with changing the mattresses with higher quality ones. I was very surprised to experience such mattresses in a vacation property, oriented to week-long stays. If that was a low-budget hotel for short-term stays, I wouldn't mention it, but this property is described with 3 stars and the studio I booked is called "deluxe studio" on Booking.com. This mismatch between description and actual level of comfort is what I'd like to flag.

The location of the property and the possibility of parking inside the promises.

The kitchenette and cooking equipments were old.

Room was spacious clean big balcony great view.

Wasn’t a dislike but there was no elevator, this wouldn’t stop me going there again, far from town and quite a few hills but the view was great

The host was great for any information needed.

A bottle of water in the room would be a nice gesture. Don’t give one big cover for two…
