Such easy access to all attractions

Excellent location & fabulous reception staff. Thnx Marina. Kitchen staff coped well with a full house on a Sunday buffet breakfast. Lovely breakfast with fabulous view. Good to see plastics being phased out & filter water at lifts.

The hot water system had trouble coping with the full house . Our showers were lukewarm which would have been a bigger issue if the weather was cold.

Location was good, reception staff were friendly.

We arrived at 4 pm and our room was not fully ready, I had to go and look for the cleaning lady to take towels myself. In the bathroom, we had to hold the shower with one hand during taking shower as it was not installed properly and it cannot be placed to the holder. The biggest problem was that there was a wedding on the 7th floor, for which noone even mention. We were on the 6th floor, exactly next to the stairs, so all evening it was super noisy. After midnight it was like the wedding was in our room - loud music, screaming, jumping. We couldn’t fall asleep. At 1:30 after calling the reception twice, we asked if we can be moved. We had to collect our luggage and move after 2 am over the night. New room was without a main light and bathroom was dirty, with the toilet with leaving from other people. We could not speak to a manager about this because there was no such. On the next day at 10:40 pm the reception called me and they kept offering me free alcohol as a compensation, regardless I do not drink.

The hotel staff were excellent. The front desk & house keeping staff were great. My room was very clean and tidy, you can tell the cleaning staff care about their work. The hotel's location is amazing just outside the old city and right on the water with a beautiful sea view a beautiful view of the old city, the new city and the The Aqueduct of Kavala, popularly known as the Kamares (Greek: Καμάρες, "arches"). The hotel is also in very close walking distance to the KTEL bus terminal and taxi stand.

I did not like the air conditioning which could not keep up with the August 2025 heat. The air-conditioning could not be set below 25 Degrees Celsius or 77 Degrees Fahrenheit without causing the system to freeze and stop working for a period of time. The hotel staff were very kind and understanding but were unable to resolve the air conditioning issues. Some of the hotel rooms have an old bathtub that is entirely too high for most people to safely step into while other rooms have had some renovations and now have a modern shower. The lighting in the renovated bathrooms is austere. Without working air conditioning I am unable to sleep at night and therefore unfortunately unable to recommend the property. If the air conditioning were repaired or replaced with a modern system, I would gladly stay at this hotel once again.

A great place to stay

Super central location within a walking distance to everything in the centre of Kavala. The rooms were clean and the staff was very polite. We were going to check out of the hotel at 5in the morning and they proposed to box pur breakfast so we can take it with us in our trip!

The hotel has a parking area but there is not enough room for all the guests, so we had to park on the street were you can get fined

I don’t like the the staff! When we arrived we ask to pay for the private parking of the hotel, they answered us that the parking is temporary. But some cars stayed 4 days. I wrote message through Booking, but nobody has answered me yet. Also the breakfast is with low quality!

Very good location and the restaurant/breakfast area offers a panoramic view of the port that you can't get enough of. Rich breakfast. The attitude of the lady at the reception was very professional; in the context that I will relate to the 'negative', he decided to offer us "on the house" an espresso requested for breakfast. Thank you for that.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not live up to the 4-star standard it claims. It needs serious renovations for it (at leaset a cleeaning of the carpet). When I arrived, I found a "stack" of cigarette butts and ashes in the balcony. I took a picture of it and pasted it for later. At breakfast, my husband chose not to come, instead he asked me to bring him a short espresso. I asked the waiter to give me that espresso as a compensation for not having breakfast, but he explained that this "trade" is not possible and that I have to pay 2 euros at the reception. I accepted, because I wanted the coffee. At check-out, however, I presented the photo from the balcony and, under these conditions, to accept the apology, I was offered that espresso free of charge. So...with some imprivments, would be much better. It was my second stay in this hotel; 3 years ago was better.

Disapointing and Clostrofobic singal room

The location of the Hotel was excellent. Their restaurant on the 6th floor was good as well. However, the signal rooms that were provided to me and my friends were tiny, not very clean and without any sunlight. The rate for one night was quite expensive, and we felt like we slept in a prison cell.

The bathroom door knob was already broken and not working when we checked in. We alerted the situation to the info desk but nothing was changed. The morning after we were locked inside and had multiple problems until we got help. Suggest to inspect the room first, then check in.

The shower wasnt working properly, everything in the room was broken. It was very uncomfortable unconventional and annoying. It was not clean and the sheets were like paper. The elevator smeled really weird.

Location, people in reception very nice and helpful.

It is not a 4star hotel anymore. it needs refurbishment, cleaning, renovating. the rooms are not clean. The elevator is horror, as there are only two small ones, very old, and cannot face the needed capacity. The hotel is not well maintained, cleaned. It’s a pity of the nice view on the terrace, as the location is not clean and well handled.
