There are many aspects of this hotel that left us very satisfied. First, it is wonderfully quiet — during our stay we enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep in great comfort. Second, the hotel is truly beautiful, both in its interior décor and in the garden with its water features outside. Third, the staff were very friendly and welcoming; we never felt like outsiders, which is something rather rare in the German service industry. Fourth, parking was very convenient, with plenty of spaces available in front and on the side of the hotel. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this hotel — it was a delightful surprise on our trip.

If blackout curtains were added to the rooms, it would be absolutely perfect.

The hotel is clean and comfortable.

Staff decided to have a private party from 11pm to 12:30am. As we had left UK at 4 am we did not appreciate the loud booming music under our rooms. We stayed here before covid and it was excellent, we will not be returning.

One of the best properties I have ever stayed at.

I arrived at the property and they didn’t have a record of my reservation, which I had made last minute that afternoon, and they were fully booked. I can only assume this was an error on the booking.com system. But the staff really went above and beyond for me and I cannot stress enough the professionalism, helpfulness and politeness of the staff here. They arranged an apartment for me on the site, I presume this is for staff or the owners as it was impeccable, and provided me with refreshments while I waited for this to be arranged. Taking into account that I arrived at the property at around 10pm I cannot believe the lengths they went to for me. The restaurant, which looked and smelled fantastic, was starting to thin out after what had obviously been a busy night (Saturday) and the staff were still all smiles and nice and chatty. I will definitely be staying here again and will definitely be trying the restaurant too. The setting and grounds are fantastic and perfect for a summers evening sitting outside, or a chilly night in the warm and comfortable atmosphere indoors. You can tell this is a massively popular place, and I can certainly see why. Thank you to everyone that really helped me out. I cannot recommend this property enough.

Very good

The breakfast was very good and we got everything we needed . Finally it is more pleasant to sit down at the beakfast table and be served than to run to big buffets and to line on for the food! Thanks Everything was perfect for us and we will come back soon

Pleasant

Beautiful setting with a great terrace next to a small lake. Nice interior as well. The staff was great.

The wifi did not reach my room. I could only connect in the public areas. One window had no curtain to block the morning light. It was not needed for privacy but just the light. They had essentially nothing to eat for breakfast for a vegetarian except bread and cornflakes.

View at the small pond was great, the hosts were also courteous and polite.

Big room with way too many stairs to get on top. Dangerous and narrow staircase connecting the lower room with the upper room. It really needs a renovation.

Wir haben eine ganze Ferienwohnung (nicht vollständige Aussattung) erhalten, obwohl nur Doppelzimmer gebucht. Sehr schönes Ambiente.

Unser Zimmer leidet nichts für Leichtschläfer

Super Personal, gutes Frühstück, an sich ein schönes Hotel, schönes Zimmer. Super sauber. Es ist alles da, was man braucht.

Unser Zimmer war auf 2 Etagen aufgeteilt, wobei sich das Schlafzimmer oben befand. Dort mega lästige Geräusche - ähnlich einer Klimaanlage - die ganze Nacht. Wenn man sich im unteren Teil des Zimmers befand, war davon nichts zu hören.

Expérience non concluante.

La suite était sur 2 niveaux avec le niveau supérieur accessible via un escalier en colimaçon très raid. On a été obligé de changer pour une chambre standard moins chère mais pas de remboursement de la part de l'hôtel. L'hôtel n'était pas accessible via le taxi (neige). Du coup, nous avons utilisé que 1 nuit sur 3 !!!!

La suite, pas cosy et accès non facile.

Allgemein ein schönes und gutes Hotel. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war überschaubar, aber lecker.

Nach langer Anreise (650 km) haben wir uns auf ein frisches Kölsch gefreut. Laut Karte an erster Stelle. Also bestellt. Kölsch leider nicht verfügbar. Also Königs Pilsener. Aber alles in Flaschen. Am nächsten Abend wollten wir nach einem Konzert einen Absacker. Jetzt war nur noch Weizenbier verfügbar.

Lage war gut.

Zimmer veraltet, teils defekter Lampenschirm und verdreckt. Matratze war zu alt und durchgelegen. Frühstück zu dem Preis unverschämt.

Heel mooi plekje met vlakbij (stukje lopen) ook een speeltuintje voor de kinderen om te spelen. Mooie grote familie kamer met genoeg ruimte om de kinderen te laten slapen en zelf ook nog vrij te kunnen bewegen zonder ze weer wakker te maken. Schoon, genoeg eetgelegenheid in hotel en in de buurt
