Hervas was an interesting location and Amos gave us plenty of information on where to go and what to do. We stayed in the self catering cottage which was situated in beautiful gardens and was very peaceful.

El Jardín del Convento was easy to find as it is signposted from the first roundabout coming in to Hervás. Parking is right outside the building in a pretty square. The old convent, now a private house, is delightful with many period features but it is very comfortable. The huge upstairs terrace, furnished with sofas and low tables, overlooks the private gardens and the mountain ranges beyond. My room was perfect; the bed was comfy and the bathroom was efficient with lots of hot water. The key to my room was huge and old and I loved even that part of my stay.
El Jardín is a Bed and Breakfast Casa Rural but the possibility of an evening glass of wine would have been nice but that is a minor quibble as the building is located very close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Amazing breakfast with produce from their garden. The staff was so welcoming. And the garden and views were fabulous. The surrounding area is so green and stunning.

We booked last minute the suite which was very spacious and comfortable with a great bathroom. The room was very cool despite the very hot outside temperatures. There was no need to run the airconditioning. Great location with parking right in front of the hotel.
