La personne qui nous a accueillis était souriante et très agréable, avec une attention bienveillante naturelle envers notre chien. Ambiance calme et tranquille pour cet hôtel, très bien placé entre Balagne et la forêt de Vizzavona

Unfussy family-run hotel in amazing scenery right in the heart of the National Park. Clean and comfortable accommodation and, when the restaurant is open, excellent home-cooked food. Fantastic hiking to be had along the Chemins des Bergers waymarked trail, accessible virtually from the doorstep.

I was travelling Corsica by train, and the hotel is a 1-hour (very uphill) walk from either of the two nearby stations. There are no buses or taxis. It came as a shock, after several hours hiking in the mountains, to return to the hotel hungry and tired, and discover there is no restaurant service at all on Sunday. I was given no warning of this, and it does not seem to be mentioned in any of the hotel's publicity. The nearest place open for food was a café/bar with a basic menu, in the neighbouring village, a further 20 minute (downhill) walk away.
