El Bahía Algeciras

Convenient to get to Gibraltar airport, on the beach despite the oil refinery and container port. Nice bar/restaurant along the beach with a lovely man who served us. Freddie was very helpful on arrival letting us leave our luggage in reception until check in at 3pm. Parking right outside which was great as we were on a motorcycle.

It needed some upgrading with the furniture I booked a double but had twin beds separated. Not a huge big deal but for €70 I think the quality could have been better.

Great views & location on the coast, restaurants nearby. Room a bit small but all ok. Balcony with sea view was nice. Room was as per the photos

Not the fanciest place in town but you get what you pay for

Location

Well, the room was clean but very dated, NO AC, bathroom is in need of repair and update. The shower was tiny ( in a Japanese style, very small tub) and we barely could stand in it. Vanity was falling apart. The main door locked only by the knob. The main concern was that the receptionist used scare tactics to convince us to pay 15 euros to park on the premises by saying that " 2/3 blocks away you can park your car BUT THERE IS NO SECURITY OR SHADE" , while there were no such things on the premises either... while the property advertises that they have private parking without mentioning the extra charge!
