Mara River Safari Lodge Bali

Really good experience to see and feed animals from the balcony. Spacious room, generally clean. Staff service is excellent.

Aircon wind was so strong and blowing directly at the bed, cant be adjusted much. Breakfast was underwhelming.

The well nice kept safari where there is a nice variety of animals. And the view pf the park and the animals from the huts

Cleanliness could be better and the hits need a refurbishment

Interesting place and fun to stay. I believe it comes with the full day safari pass but i didnt use it.it was my choice as I just wanted to relax amd also arrived late as it was my last day before flying home. I loved my room, it was really great and zebras, giraffs and one poor lonely rihno was roaming around. I had a nice chill on the balcony before heading for dinner. Food was really great, i had the duck and couple of coctails. The service was great at the restaurant and in the morning the Lions were roaming next to my window during breafast so it was fun! The food presentation was super cute with animal faces and the flavour were great. I had amazing good sleep as the bed was super comfy and my neighbours were also dead quiet. I had really great stay overall. minus the pool.

The pool water was very murky and didnt look clean at all. It was very overcrowded too so i stayed for 5min just to take picture and run away. Expect a lot of kids as this is this kind of place (and nothing wrong with it but just a warning to my fellow travelers that like quiet time in a pool). One thing that concered me was the riddiculous amout of the night safari car keep passing every 5min and flashing the animals with light torches. The rhino looked so depressing and literally just stayed in one corned for the whole time hardly moving. I think hes got some trauma from this.

Tv didn’t work well and staff couldn’t get it to work properly Only option to watch tv was Indonesian Chanel no English Shower had no pressure and took over half an hour to get to Luke warm Had maintenance out 3 times to fix finally changed the head and all worked mind u this was done at 11pm I’m normally asleep by 8.30pm
