Riad Catalina

The staff were great, they helped with anything that we asked. Rooms were exactly as the pictures, they were spotless and beautifully cool. The location is great, 10 mins walk from any major attractions, and close to the city walls if you want to do excursions. I have traveled to Marrakech several times and i would highly recommend Catalina.

i cannot think of anything bad that stood out. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and tidy. I have nothing i would complain about.

"Atrium" of the riad looks nice. Location is ok. Breakfast was nice.

You pay for location, but it is not worth 120+ eur per night. Stay paid in advance (non-refundable) over Booking. You can't pay the tax and drinks on site with card, unless it is over 1000 MAD. In case of our drink, the price was different in French and English menus. Rooms are outdated. Water pressure fluctuating. Pool is about 50 cm deep. Bunch of cats (at least 7) lives in the hotel "atrium". Although cute, the smell of their no. 1s and no. 2s, which they make approx. 2 m from your breakfast table is not very pleasant. I asked 3x (1 week in advance) for parking suggestions over Booking app - zero reaction from the hotel. I have not found a whatsapp number that I could use.
