Very well priced hotel. Breakfast is brilliant (you'll be well fed ready for a day exploring/walking, etc.). Bread, cereal, fruit and sweater options, plus freshly squeezed orange juice (cannot be missed, was delicious!). The staff are friendly and are happy to speak in Spanish or English.
Our ensuite didn't have an extractor fan, so the room got steamy after showers. I'd recommend this hotel if you're happy taking taxis all holiday, or if you're hiring/driving a car (the public transport isn't great). If you'll mainly be spending your time in Gijon centre (beach days/shopping) then maybe choose a central hotel, but if you're like us and just needed a hub to leave your bags while you go out exploring then this place will do the job. 10-15 Euros to get to the town centre via taxi, around 30 to get to Bilbao by bus.

The bedroom was great, good facilities etc.
The dining room - was like a dark cellar - it was a dark cellar! No pictures, no plants, and very gloomy. Surprising for a hotel this size!

Breakfast was not included in the deal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Underground parking was secure and included in the price.
