One nighter

Value for money very good. Unquestionable.

Every thing comes at a cost. But great value for money. 4 star rating, lesser star quality. Everyone trying hard in an aging asset. Well done those involved.

Would not recommend this place.

The staff.

The breakfast was ok but very basic. The dinner costs 25 € but that does not include water, all drinks will be played after the meal. The dinner is all-inclusive but the food was very bad. The room was not cleaned, had ants in the room and open window. The toilet seat was not stuck to the floor. Would not recommend this place.

Buffet food at breakfast time. The hot food section was never warm, cold. Coffee of a very poor standard. Pancakes were awful.

Exceptional

I had a wonderful stay at BlueBay Hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and the facilities were great. What really made my experience special was Mrs. Sonia, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her warm hospitality truly made me feel welcome. Thank you Mrs .Sonia, thank you very much also Mr.Jose and the entire BlueBay team for such a pleasant stay! Highly recommended!

The manager was really kind and good person, I didn’t like my room before but thanks the manager change my room. The towel thats perfect.

Location and decent breakfast.

Cleanliness, ants everywhere, towels weren’t clean, bathrooms looked dirty always, security for parking entry gate really rude, staff were nice but never really helped. No stairs!!

Great stay

Pool facilities great - good selection for breakfast and prices not too high at pool bar/ restaurant. Value for money is great. About 20 min walk to Banús harbour. But no little shops in close distance for drinks/ snacks etc. rooms are outdated and could probably do with a freshen up

It was in great location.

The pool didn’t open until 10.30am which I found quite late even though it was out of season. There were coffee making facilities in the room but they only supplied you with 2 sachets of coffee and when I asked for more I was going to be charged 3 euro per sachet!!!

Awful

1st room we were given had a disgusting smell, not clean no towels. Was rectified and given another room but was clean but very run down . Bare wires hanging out plug socket where kettle should be plugged in, curtains extremely hard to pull on runners , dressing table /desk pulled looking for plug and seemed it had wood worm , mould round windows and looking that they were rotten. Plaster off exterior walls just lying on the floor , paving around grounds looking extremely dirty , broken steps . Whole of hotel dated very easy to take your money . Very much lack of maintenance overall also bed head dangerous with broken headboard and cupboard the same . Don’t stay here

Nice stay

Really like the size of the room and we had a nice balcony with a pool view. The bathroom was big with a bathtub inside and very good shower, Reception staff were very helpful. Wi-Fi was very good connection. Very good room cleaning services every day.

Our room was by the main road and it was very noisy, we could hear the traffic noice and cars loudly. There was no light in the balcony, a tall mirror would have been very nice, air con was not working. Room’s phone had no dial tone. Breakfast was okay not very good quality.

Perfect end of summer stay

We stayed here for 5 nights as we had a wedding in benahavis. The location was perfect and only a 15 minute journey to the venue in benahavis, while it was walking distance into Puerto banus marina and even less to the beach. The setting of the hotel is beautiful even to walk around and everything spaced out well, with ramps and paths to suit disabled access. We spent time at both of the main pools which were great plenty of spaces at this time of year with no need to reserve loungers. The breakfast couldn’t be faulted with choice for everyone including non dairy milk alternatives and great value for money. The staff were kind and helpful at all times, arranging transport to the airport for us.

There was unfortunately an issue with our water in the room on our last day and the shower and sink ran discoloured however staff apologised and explained there had been a fault during the night, and once we ran the shower for ten minutes as advised it was back to normal. This appeared to be a once off issue and was no one’s fault.
