The beds were not that great. The bedroom tv didn’t work as kept saying no WiFi connections even tho my phone had WiFi

Air conditioning not turned on by the hotel, fan not great in bedroom, no fan in living room to sleep on sofa bed as we are family of 4, need to rely on opening balcony door to get air, not asked hotel staff as we liked the size of the property given, not willing to move to different room.

The food varied per evening meal and there was a large enough variety and was good quality. The pool area had an adequate number of sun loungers for all guests and they were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The staff helped us to hire a car very quickly and easily. The beds were comfortable (excluding the issue about bedding below). Location was great. Local beaches were lovely.

The tiles in the bottom of the pool were constantly coming loose - my children frequently would pull another one out of the pool. This is not only a sign of poor maintenance and overdue repairs needed but is a health and safety harzard. The maid service only made the beds, which did not include putting the duvet inside the duvet cover, which we found odd and meant the customer had to still make the beds. Apart from that, there was no cleanig done - so despite the fact that the maids came into the rooms each day, the floors were left unswept, with dirt still on them, there were still marks on the kitchen worktop which showed that the worktops hadn't been cleared down. So we opted in the end to put our do not disturb sign on the door as it was more risk than it was worth to have someone come into our room each day for no cleaning to be done (given our passports were in the room). The hotel restaurant floors were not cleaned adequately between breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We could tell because there were bits of food left over on the floors from previous meals. It would have been so much nicer if the cleaners had provided the option of clean towels. By the end of the 1 week holiday, we really would have appreciated that. There were some hidden fees that were not made clear before booking, e.g.; - if you go half board, or fully inclusive, to have drinks, you have to pay an extra 7 euros per day - you have ot pay for the safe in your room - you get provided with one set of pool towels for your stay. If you want fresh towels, you need to pay for extras It cost £2416 for a family of 4 to stay half board during May half term. This is still quite a lot of money for what was just ok. It feels like we should be able to expect better cleanliness for that money.
