SOL by Meliá Port Cambrils

Breakfast was nice - it's not a massive selection but does the job and the fresh omelettes were delicious. Had nutella for the kids with the pancakes. Had a gluten free toasting section. Sunday morning there was a girl playing cello to some great tunes in the outdoor breakfast area - very nice ambience. Pool area not massive but very comfortable and no issues with getting a sunbed. Reasonable gym to keep my daughter happy. Pool view not anything to write home about but we are not sit on the balcony people, am guessing we could have paid more to have a better view on the other side. Room and bathroom size were good. Beds were decent as were pillows. Aircon did the job. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. The bar / pool lunch menu was good. 5 minute ish walk down to sea and shops / restaurant 2 minute walk up to Aldi Quiet area Entertainment at night was nice too. All in all, very nice and I would go back

For the price I paid all was good

The staff are excellent and so helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and so clean. Breakfast is an event as every morning we had musicians playing beautiful music .. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the shops and restaurants.. I would throughly recommend this hotel

Absolutely cannot fault this hotel in any way

Nice relaxed atmosphere and was never too crowded or busy. Close to the beach and the main area of cafes and bars.

Lovely hotel so clean staff very friendly think it's more suited to couples or older people as very quiet
