SOL by Meliá Port Cambrils

Perfect location. Very near to the sea Great breakfast, Spacious underground parking on site. Very friendly! Live instrumental music during the breakfast (piano and saxophone). Swimming pool with plenty sun loungers. Outstanding dinner buffet!!!

Breakfast: consistently enjoyable. All the staff from reception through restaurant to chambermaids were all delightful - that's very unusual: well done! The suite was very comfortable (as it should be). Then there was a total eclipse, which was superb.

Live music at breakfast - not a good idea: I don't think I'm alone in that opinion. The choice os music on many days was pretty depressing too. There is apparently a rooftop bar in the hotel, or so you say in marketing information. It's not on the roof, which gave us some nervous moments since it is one of the reasons I chose the hotel for the solar eclipse. You should remove the phrase "rooftop" from its description.

Great hotel and location only 5 minutes from the beach but set in a quiet area so we got a great nights sleep’. Rooms were well thought out with a mini fridge, a nice walk in shower and hairdryer Staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Lili and Moha at the pool bar their service was exceptional Well maintained pool with plenty of sunbeds . Nice seating area in the shade for a snack or drinks Great evening entertainment, Breakfast was fresh and plentiful the room was well thought out with space between tables and a lovely outdoor area shaded from the sun and we had a violinist playing whilst we ate which was lovely
