This was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life.

I paid extra money for a late check-out. Despite this, I received a phone call from the reception staff from India who spoke to me in a very rude and aggressive manner, shouting on the phone in a way that was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. When we arrived at the hotel to collect our luggage, our cards were deactivated, which made us feel embarrassed and treated as if we had done something wrong. This behavior was inappropriate and unacceptable, especially considering that we had already paid for the late check-out. Such treatment does not reflect the standards expected from a hotel of your reputation. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism, respect, and customer service shown by your staff.

Outstanding service at Mafraq hotel

It is a quiet and beautifully maintained traditional hotel in Mafraq area. I loved its cosy and spacious rooms, its friendly receptionists and fitness wellness staff. The hotel has a gorgeous pool and a good gym too.

The pool side and the surroundings. It's holiday and its not crowded. I like that we can swim til night at 8pm. Its nice to walk around at night also.

A deeply disappointing stay marked by poor hygiene, outdated facilities, and unacceptable service.

Unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations for a property rated with your current star level. Firstly, I was shocked to be asked to pay just to receive a basic utensil like a fork. This kind of policy is not only unreasonable but also reflects very poorly on the service standards of the establishment. Secondly, the bathroom conditions were unacceptable. The shower had a disturbing mix of water and what appeared to be shampoo or soap residue constantly running, making it unhygienic and unpleasant to use. The state of the room itself was equally disappointing. It was very dirty, with visible hair all over the floor and in various areas – clear evidence that proper cleaning protocols were not followed. This is not only unhygienic but completely unacceptable for any paying guest. Finally, the appliances in the room were extremely old and outdated. From the air conditioning unit to basic electronics, everything seemed neglected and worn out. This level of deterioration does not match the standards one would expect from a hotel with your advertised star rating. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and certainly not worth the price paid. I strongly urge management to review these issues seriously and take corrective actions to align the hotel’s actual service and facilities with its advertised rating.

I encountered a situation with the duty manager, Yousef, whose demeanour I found to be quite rude and unprofessional. From the onset, his tone and treatment of guests left a negative impression, which I believe undermines the welcoming atmosphere your hotel strives to provide. I understand that everyone can have a challenging day, but it is essential for the staff, especially those in management positions, to maintain a level of professionalism when interacting with guests

Hoping this Hotel Improves its facilities as there is a potential to have a good stay.

The staff were accommodating and the lobby was clean. The Pool area was nice.

The cleanliness of the hotel did not meet my expectations, nor it did meet the usual standards. I have found a trash bin full in my room as soon as i checked in. Also, the hotel rooms beds and overall condition are old and broken for some. My bathroom ceiling was leaking as well. And for the restaurant, there are flies everywhere near the food and literally on the bread.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and was a delight!!!! They did their "Extra - Mile " to make my stay comfortable and safety as I was a solo traveller... the cleanliness was superb!!!! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who travels !!! I'd say Exceptional for one - day traveller !!!! Thank you, Al Mafraq!!! Was a very pleasant experience;)
