Friendly, very well run family hotel. A lovely room with a balcony. A great breakfast. Very clean and a very good location - walking distance to the main train station, the town centre and the Zugspitz train. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect for skiing and visiting the town, the breakfast was great, the room was comfortable and I liked how the bed split into two twin beds. They had a good ski storage room with ski boot warmers.

A very cozy and charming hotel. Small, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. There’s a sauna and a gym, which was a nice bonus.
The biggest highlight, though, is the staff — incredibly warm, kind, and professional. They truly make the whole experience feel special.
We stayed during the New Year week with our two kids (7 and 8 years old) for a skiing trip. The hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the ski lift, which was very convenient, and also about a 10-minute walk to the town center.
Breakfast was varied and tasty, but one staff member completely won our hearts: every morning she hand-painted the boiled eggs for breakfast, and for our son she even made two little chocolate hearts in his cocoa instead of one. Such a small detail, but it made our stay unforgettable.
The hotel does feel a bit dated in places, although it’s clear that it’s very well cared for and maintained with attention and effort.
It would be great to see the minibar stocked instead of being empty — that small touch would make the stay feel more complete. Also, a few extra activities or entertainment options for kids in the evenings would be a nice addition.
One more small suggestion: upgrading the TV to allow screen mirroring or streaming from a phone would be perfect for cozy family movie nights.

The hotel’s location was very good, and the rain shower in the bathroom was a welcome and enjoyable feature.
The staff appeared to have limited knowledge of the local area. When we asked for assistance with ski bus routes and train connections, we were unable to get clear guidance and ultimately had to work it out ourselves.
