Booking does not mention a €200 deposit, which is more than the room cost. Booking also said we could check in early but the manager looked at me like this was a crazy suggestion. Stripping my own bed in somewhere claiming to be 4 star is wild, but I guess what you expect for the low price. For a cheap self service apartment it’s ok. A 10am check out and a 5pm check in is mad. Never experienced such a huge gap. The internet is awful, may as well not exist. And it’s weird because previous reviews mention this but nothing has been done to remedy it. Quiet time is requested from 9pm but there is a huge theatre and music venue next door which was very very loud til 1am.

Inexpensive (cheap) simple accommodation; no frills, just very basic. Very convenient for buses and trains. My request for a quiet room was actioned - thank you.

Reaction and action to investigate and address source of a very unpleasant odour which lingered over a four day stay despite being reported to reception on three occasions. Had to sleep with balcony door open to keep air relatively free from a nasty smell. Staff invariably very polite and apologetic (and horrified when they experienced, at my insistence, the awful smell). Such a pity (the source of the pong remains a mystery to me). For the single traveller, ideal for a short business stay. Thank you for post-visit management intervention. I will use again but on the assumption that this experience was an aberration.
