The pool settimg is lovely and the water is warm and clean.

It's a narrow pool though so if two or more people decide to stand still in the pool and not swim - just talk! - it's difficult to do regular lengths. Maybe guests should be asked not to stand still in the pool chatting.

Great location, on Rue D’Antibes. The hotel was bigger than I expected, and the breakfast was very good, including the staff in the breakfast room. The indoor pool was great for my morning swim!

I was given a room by a lift, despite my request not to be near one, which I declined, and then another room was offered to me - even though I was told that the hotel was ‘fully booked’. It had an EXTREMELY small bathroom, and was not the same standard as the other Classic Double rooms (which is what I booked) on the same floor - I looked in one. Unfortunately, us solo travellers are always given poor rooms, which I commented on at reception, and was met with a ‘shrug’. The room I was allocated, I would say, was a ‘single’ or ‘budget’ room. It would never have been given to a couple (Room 205). Also, on checking in, the reception staff were not at all welcoming, and I had to ASK where breakfast would be served in the morning, and where the swimming pool was. The Spa facilities were NOT at all sold to me.
