Golden Carthage Hotel & Residence Tunis

Golden Carthage was not our original stay in Tunis as we had priorly booked elsewhere, we ended up disliking the other place and booked Golden Carthage and thank God we did! The staff were friendly, welcoming and treated us with respect and care, the facilities such as the pool were outstanding, and thoroughly enjoyable, the restaurant selection on site was fantastic and the general cleanliness of the site was great! This is what made our stay in Tunis so lovely!

Our room had an issue with the door which occurred twice which meant I had to walk from our hotel room (a 3 minute walk) back and forth from my room and the reception until we were finally let in via security. The door issue was over two days of our stay. A minor inconvenience! The room service for a sandwich was over an hour wait, with a not so good quality of food.

The hotel rooms are meticulously clean, beds are very comfortable, swimming pool is large and clean The Italian restaurant food is very delicious. The other restaurants also have great food ( breakfast and pool restaurants at the apartments area) Mr Hisham is very welcoming and professional

We first booked at the apartment area, it was very old style needs refurbishing, and the tap water smells like sewer. We complained for that and they staff were very polite and professional, they booked us to another one inside the hotel which was very nice and comfortable. The hotel located up the hill so no access to the beach bust never needed as the pools were enough for me didn’t need to go to the beach

Huge property, rooms are big , kitchen inside room

Isolated, no mini supermarket or anything stores near by
