We had a great stay at Liya and John’s place. The property is perched on a hilltop with amazing views, the house is cozy, comfortable, and clean, and the backyard is gorgeous with a well maintained pool. Communication with Liya was extremely prompt and courteous. Highly recommended and would definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our visit to Monterey Park - Liya (sp?) responded quickly to our questions about the house both during the planning and booking process, as well as while we were there. The house was lovely - clean, pretty and exactly as described. We were glad to be able to have our family gather in such a nice place for our Thanksgiving Dinner!

We had a wonderful time staying here. It is a perfect location close to family in Pasadena as well as Dodger Stadium, which we visited three times over the weekend. The hosts were prompt when contacted about a couple of issues and corrected them right away, which was much appreciated! The outside by the pool was perfect for gatherings and to enjoy the outside. We would definitely stay here again when in the area!

We had a great experience staying here. Neighborhood was quiet and the house was perfect for our family. The pool was refreshing and so many shaded places to gather and hang out. The hosts were easy to communicate with and gracious enough to let us stay later than expected.

the house was perfect.. 3 bedrooms accomodate 6 people. spacious kitchen with great dinning area that opened to a sitting area with a very comportable couch and TV. Of course this all opened up to a wonderful patio area and pool. the weather did not allow us to us the pool but we enjoyed sitting on the aboundant patio.. Great coffee machine an iron and even a curling iron. It was great

4 of us stayed at this house for a long weekend to attend a music festival at the Rose Bowl. House looks just like it’s pictured and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. I had prompt communication with the host all weekend. House has your basic needs and you bring the extras. Relatively quick access to Rose bowl, although not being from LA it seems to take forever to go anywhere regardless. The house has three bathrooms which was key for the 4 of us. 10/10 would recommend staying here with a group!

We used this house for family arriving from out of town for our son's college graduation. It was a great retreat in a very quiet and safe neighborhood but just minutes from the highway. The owners were extremely communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The property itself was charming as described. We hope to be back soon!

We enjoyed the great room with well-equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. There's lots of seating around the pool, too. (In early March, it was still too cool to jump in, but we happily sunned in the late afternoon.) It's a pleasant, amazingly quiet neighborhood for LA. The owners were great and very helpful. Our only two complaints: LA traffic and lumpy mattresses. We would happily return.

Our stay in this charming house was pretty pleasant however there were a couple snags. The toilets were constantly backing up, the sink faucets in the kitchen and master bath need to be fixed. There was an issue with the TV and after contacting the owner they didn’t get back to us till the next day. However we did get a late check out which really helped us out.

This home is nice and just as advertised. The owners communicated very quickly, and we did not have any issues. The pool was a nice and my boys enjoyed it. We planned to visit Universal Studios, the LA Science Center, and Santa Monica beach. This home is not really close to any of these places. Being from the mid-west, my family had not really experienced LA traffic before. This home for us was about: 30 minutes from the Science Center, 45 minutes to Universal, and 1.5 hours from the beach. This was during the middle of October. This is nothing against the home or the owners, just so you are aware of where the home is in location to other things. It is near central LA and it does have quick access to the highways.

The place is easy to find. In a great neighborhood. The shower in master had mold and the drain was clogged (easier fix). The pool needed a little maintenance and cleaned but overall was a cute place.

Home was clean with good internet and located close to Los Angeles. Pool was dirty when we arrived but the owner quickly remedied the situation. Unfortunately, the cleaning vac and hoses were left to lay on the pool deck along with other items that looked like miscellaneous construction items. All in all, the owner was very responsive.

A cozy house. Comfortable beds, central location, and well stocked kitchen. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue, though. Lots of dust under the living room furniture, and by the end of our stay the pool had so much algae we didn't feel comfortable using it.

Pros: Neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is a family area. Cons: Significant travel time to downtown and tourist areas, about 30 minutes one way. Ride shares will be about $40 one way. Also, pool is not well maintained. Pool was dirty on arrival needing vacuuming and walls were stained with algae. Kids refused to swim in it because of appearance. Notified owner but it was not addressed effectively during the week we were there. Best for families looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the larger part of the city. Don't count on the pool being clean and ready for swimming.

Came to LA to bring my life long Dodger fan father in law to a Dodger game. The location is great. LA traffic is horrific so thankfully this residence was centrally located to places we visited. Hosts were accommodating and the house was spacious. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim in the pool, as it was only in the 60's in LA in June. The twin beds were a bit uncomfortable, but everything else was great. We'd stay here again. I recommend this house .

Beautiful stay inside and out!!! We had our group of 7 comfortably packed in this house. We had three adults bunk on a soft King size bed with plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped and lots of breakout spaces to gather around. It was located in a quiet street, plenty of driveway parking and safe neighborhood for evening walks. This was a great place to retreat to after a long day of shopping at Santee Alley. The pool was a great amenity when we needed a break from the hot sun. Very close to lots of shops, grocery, boba, Daiso! The host were very accommodating, answered all our questions and concerns, and very responsive. Definitely will stay again!
