Malisa Villa Suites - SHA Extra Plus

I loved the privacy of the villa. It was close enough to the shops and beach but was also far enough away for privacy. The pool villas are gorgeous and the staff were very friendly and hospitable.

Amenities could be better. They had a small shampoo that would last maybe 1 wash. Be better to have larger size shampoos and conditioners like other hotels. No Moisturiser was supplied either and the toothpaste was very small. But luckily it is refilled every day. No iron in the room either.

كل شي كان ممتاز الفندق نظيف الموظفين ودودين وسريعين في الخدمة الفيلا ممتازة واحلى شي الممر للغرفه تعيشون أجواء استوائية والمكان بعيد عن الازعاج والفعاليات بس هالشي ما كان سلبي بالعكس المكان مناسب جداً للعائلات و سفرات البنات، الفندق جدا امان الريوق كان لذيذ وحلال للمسلمين على كثر ما امدح الفندق الصراحه ما أعطيه حقه.

We loved our private pool villa! The room was luxurious and comfortable and the pool was just perfect. The property is at the end of a long driveway off Kata Road meaning you are close to restaurants, shops and the beach but away from the noise and tourist rush. The breakfast included in the room price was excellent, with a wide variety of choices - Western or local (the crab curry is amazing!!) Lovely friendly staff who responded to any questions promptly and efficiently.

Nothing

The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, upscale, and thoughtfully designed. The villas are spacious, and we never felt cramped at any point. Everything was clean, well maintained, and housekeeping was prompt and efficient. The location is a major plus. It’s just a short 5 minute walk to Kata Beach, which makes it very convenient

The staff are polite and nice, but the overall experience feels quite rigid. There seems to be very little flexibility or discretion given to handle guest situations. We arrived on a red-eye international flight with two tired children (12 and 9) and requested an early check in. While I can’t say for certain whether the property was fully booked, the request was declined and we were directed to a waiting area. Since early check-in wasn’t possible, I asked if we could have breakfast that morning and skip it on the last day (we had a 5 AM checkout). This is a fairly common and practical accommodation in many five-star hotels, especially when traveling with kids. However, this request was also declined, with the only option being a packed breakfast for the day we were leaving. While all of this was handled politely, the lack of flexibility stood out and felt beneath what I would expect from a premium resort
