In the old town so perfect for exploring. Tasty breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff

The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. The room was very clean and spacious. The property was located in a quiet and convenient location in the town. The town of Trogir is beautiful
Everything was great with the exception of one minor area. We asked to check in at 1.00 pm and this was agreed before arrival. The room was not accessible until 2.00 pm though. This wasn't necessarily a problem for us but it would help if the hotel made realistic agreements on check in times. Otherwise it was all great and thank you to the staff for making it a superb stay.

A little difficult to find tucked in with the restaurant and parking across channel with a bridge walking access.
Room was small but accommodating and quiet

Perfect location, wonderful, friendly staff. Great food, really clean
No problems. Be aware it’s a small Euro type place. We knew that.

Excellent location, extremely comfortable, friendly staff.
Breakfast buffet was a little on the tired side to take it down from the full 10/10 score!

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

This was a last-minute reservation, as most places were already fully booked, but in the end, I was very happy with my choice. The stay was not cheap, but I do not regret choosing this hotel.
Hotel Trogir is located in the Old Town. The Old Town is relatively small, so everything is easily reachable within 5–10 minutes on foot. The bus station is about a 5-minute walk away, and from there it takes just 10 minutes by bus to reach the airport. There are three supermarkets nearby, along with many restaurants and various shops.
The hotel itself is quite small, with eight rooms spread over three floors. I stayed in a double room on the top floor and liked it very much - it was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated (I loved the painting with the boat!). There was a fridge in the room, although I am not sure it worked properly (it might be worth checking). The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was also fully reliable.
Please note that all rooms are accessible only by stairs (approximately 18 steps to the first floor, if I remember correctly). This was not a problem for me, but it could be an issue for guests with mobility difficulties or heavy luggage — although I am sure the staff would gladly assist with bags (I was offered help but I did not need it).
The hotel has its own restaurant. Breakfast is served there, but since I usually left before 7:00 a.m., I did not have the chance to try it. However, I had dinner there twice and really enjoyed it. On my second visit, I even received a complimentary dessert from the hotel, which was a lovely gesture.
The staff - the owners, the kitchen team, and the young ladies - were all very kind and helpful. The information on Booking mentioned a coffee machine in the room, which unfortunately was not there. However, I was able to get a cup of hot water from the restaurant whenever I needed one, which I truly appreciated.
Overall, I had a very positive experience at Hotel Trogir and would be happy to return.
I really liked everything about the hotel itself. Just two comments:
1) It would be helpful to update the information regarding the coffee machine in the room to avoid any confusion.
2) On the last night of my stay, a very noisy family with three children was in the room next to mine (Room 308). While it is perfectly understandable that families with young children can be a bit loud, this went far beyond acceptable limits. They woke me up when they returned to the hotel around 23:30 and continued shouting well past midnight. The noise started again early in the morning, at 5:00 and wet on until they finally checked out before 6 am. Guests who display such disregard for others should perhaps be flagged or advised against staying in shared accommodation, as they clearly cannot, or choose not to, respect the comfort of fellow guests. This, of course, was not the fault of the hotel.

We arrived at 09:30 and were allowed to immediately check in for no charge.
I expected only to be allowed to leave the bags.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite.
The hotel is not super modern and doesn’t have a lift.
This isn’t a problem for me but perhaps other people may find this more of an issue.

We visited during a heatwave, the day we left, the uber showed 42 outside of the car. So the AC was great to have, couldn't have done without.
The hotel looks ok, as per the pictures.
The staff is nice and try to help/be helpful, but in a Eastern European way, which we are used to, however some British guests didn't seem to enjoy. 😅
Food wise it looks like they didn't really catch up with the times, but you won't starve, if it's your only option for food.
The breakfast doesn't offer a big variety. And on our second morning you could tell that the items weren't fresh anymore. But we had tomatoes, cucumbers and boiled eggs, bread and butter.
Overall, despite everything not being great or perfect, I would return, for the location. I just wouldn't eat there anymore.
There was a really nice waiter in the evenings, a bit older, he was very calm, kind and knowledgeable.
As well as the girl who did the housekeeping.
The 2 of them seemed to be the nicest.
The breakfast.
Also worth noting that coffee is very old-school, asked for a late & it came in an espresso cup with a splash of milk.
But we asked for a bigger cup with some milk in it and we just poured the coffee over the milk.. then it did turn into a cafe late. 😅
Some other few minor things, that the manager or the other lady (forgot her name) did try to sort out once we mentioned them.
The junior staff got the blame for the hiccups.😅

Our room was extremely cozy, spotlessly clean, and smelled amazing, with a bathroom just as lovely. It was a very charming room, perfectly in tune with the historic atmosphere of Trogir!
The staff and the owner/manager were absolutely incredible and attentive. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, provided us with all the necessary information, and helped us with our luggage.
The hotel also has a restaurant with amazing food and a very pleasant, elegant atmosphere. Our stay was very short – just one night – but we definitely want to come back to enjoy everything Trogir has to offer.
We also want to highlight a special moment: due to a misunderstanding on our part, we thought breakfast was at 7 AM, but it actually started at 8. We explained that we had to leave at 8 to catch our flight back to Portugal and wouldn’t be able to have breakfast. To our surprise, the staff kindly prepared the best breakfast of our lives ahead of time! We were so grateful – they were truly wonderful!

It was conveniently located fir the town. The food at the restaurant at the hotel was very nice. The lady with black hair was so lovely and helpful. She really looked after us every evening. Our room had a small stove and a table and a very comfortable sofa bed and in addition there was a double bedroom. It was spotlessly clean.
There are lots of steps and some of the decor is a bit dated.

The Hotel is in a good location in Trogir, facing the mainland, it's easy to find and from first arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a nice room which seemed to have been refurbished recently, everything in the room worked and the shower was nice and powerful, and the bed was very comfortable.
The hotel has several good restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walk and the town centre bars, restaurants and sights to see are a gentle ten minute stroll away.
The breakfast is very good with a good selection of meat, cheese, fruit etc.
All the staff at the hotel were great and went out of their way to help you.
Nothing.

The staff is amazing. They value the reputation of the hotel and work extra hard to make sure that every guest is happy. Their pride in their work and the reputation of the hotel is evident at every level, from the owners to the hotel cleaning staff. They bend over backwards for their guests.

We loved the location. So close to the old town but so quiet. We booked the front room on the 2nd floor with the balcony which was spacious very clean and comfortable. Frank was a great host and made us feel very welcome. The bonus is that the hotel has a great restaurant and the food was exceptional and very well priced. We ordered the Platta Trigor which was for 2 people and would easily fed 4. Cooked on the outside grill it was fab. Breakfast the next morning had plenty of choice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.
Nothing. We couldn't fault it.

Only stayed for a day but by the time I left it felt as if Frano(the owner) and I had been friends for years. He and his staff were out of the top drawer. Should I go back to Trogir that will be my choice of hotel

Quiteness, comfortable bed, breakfast, location.
Excelent location at quiet end of island near castle. Very wecoming and accomodating staff, the answer to any question was "don't worry". Included evening meal was good, plenty of choices, also nice selection at buffet breakfast, with fresh orange juice and coffee, selection of fruit included fresh figs! Would definately return!
