Not again!

The location and the fact you can have access to the beach!

Its not a 5star hotel. Its very old and in serious need of renovation. We were on a “renovated” room for which ofcourse we paid more . There was water coming from the ceiling in the bathroom. The shower head phone had mold . The furniture outside and the chairs inside were of the “non renovated rooms” and subsequently very different from the modern ones in the pictures. The play room with the games was leaking from the ceiling. The restaurants and the hotel in general have the same furniture for decades !! When we checked in they forgot to let us know about the beach chairs rule and in our first morning they announced that they did not have any beach chairs to give us because we “failed to reserve” some. The kidsclub is just a small room . It can be used only for a few kids and is very limited to what they can do thus they dont want to stay. Moreover it closes around 18:00 which is the actual time you need a kidsclub (after pool time).

Good location, beautiful beach and services on the beach, nice green garden and pool, rich breakfast. Well organised services for sunbeds at the pool and beach. Big and comfortable shower/bathroom in the room.

The room is not a 5* room. The furniture of the room is white ikea style basic and old, the sunbeds on the trrace were not cleaned as a daily service, nor the chairs or the table on the terrace ( more, when they cleaned the trees in front of the bungalow, all the dust and spare leaves remained on the terrace) . Under the bed was never cleaned ( we had to take the toys from there full of dust as our boy was playing around). + you can hear everyhing from the other rooms (we chose a bungalow to spare other guests from our boys midnight cry, but we ended hearing even the whispers of the other rooms).

Location

A/C in room not working properly. There are no A/C units in corridors. The room has only 2 plugs not even close to bed. Needs renovation. Elevator is too small and there is only one elevator in each floor. Not stroller friendly.

Wonderful by the sea!

We loved everything about this hotel: the reception ladies were very nice and helpfull; the cleaning ladies came to the room 2/3 times a day to change towels and clean; the pool/beach boys were very attentive. Everybody smiled at you as you walked by. Breakfast had a lot of food, for all tastes. Beds were very big and comfortable.

Disappointing

Location and relatively clean rooms. Proximity to the beach.

Even though this hotel has a lot of potential it was one of the most disappointing holidays I have had ever. As a cypriot just the sun and the proximity to the beach, these things do not wow me. First of all the reception ladies were not that welcoming or gave us any information which was useful and important such as the wifi but mostly that we had to reserve the sun-beds if we wanted to go to the beach of the hotel! Which I find a significant part of the information since if you go without reservation you cannot find a bed trust me I have been there with 2 children, and the guy who is in charge was extremely rude, he even called my husband “mastre” which proves that NO 5 STAR RESORT SHOULD TALK TO CLIENTS LIKE THIS! It is a shame but the service in general is not that great, the porters were the only ones that were kind. It definitely needs some renovation but that is not that important I guess as other basic needs are not met.

Great stay except the treatment on the reception desk.

Grecian park is ( was ) my N 1 Pick in the Island. I have always recommended this choice as 1st opportunity for whoever wanted to visit Cyprus/ & the Ayia Napa/ Protaras.

The whole staff gave me/us the usual/special attention I have been used to throughout all of ( my over) 10 visits to Grecian in the past 2 years. Was however totally disappointed when, upon requesting for flexibility at the reception, for 2/3 hours late check out, due to a late afternoon Larnaca departing flight, the reception staff rejected immediately my request, stating that they were short on (sea view) rooms, which was not to me confirmed upon checking on the spot the hotel same category rooms availably on the same day! Not to mention also, that my late check in, 23:00 on the 3rd of July, was clearly mentioned on time, giving room to the reception to handle cases like mine, & to use “my” facilities to accommodate late checking out visitors. In brief, I am sure I should have been given a different treatment, & this experience has pushed me to look for other alternatives… Please make sure to identify, your regular visitors & to give them the special A to Z treatment they deserve!! They are not walk in clients .

We had a wonderful weekend full of relaxation and exploring Ayia Napa

The facilities both in the room and on the grounds are well maintained. The staff are friendly and there is a wide variety of things to do at the hotel. It is located a short walk from restaurants and night life but you don't hear the music either, which is very nice.

We checked in - but the keys for the rooms didn't worked so we had to wait 50 minutes till they came to fix this and only than we entered to the rooms moreover, we paid for sea view and got only partly sea view we asked a double bed and got twin beds .... No apologize from the hotel, no compensation it really ruin our vacation

Comfortable bed and view of the sea view room. We got a free upgrade which was very kind. Paul in the reception is the nicest receptionist.

On our first morning we were woken up by the housekeeping at 9 AM. Overall, I felt that there was too much knocking on my door by the personnel for either the housekeeping that was clearly too early or someone to check the mini-bar. But it can be avoided through switching the „do not disturb“ button.

Lovely choice at breakfast. Pre booking the sunloungers was interesting, not sure that everyone was participating, but we had no problem and always managed the lounger we wanted. Nice room and balcony.

Not worth the money

Close to the main streets. Rooms are big and the view from the balcony was amazing. Bathroom had so many options( bath, shower, toilet, bidet) which was nice. Breakfast was good.

We was staying on the 5th floor, in room 551, and Internet connection was very bad, and most of the time disappearing at all. We called reception many times during the day, but, I guess, they was soooo busy to even check on our complaint, which is strange for 550 euros a night. Beach had so many rocks on the entrance to the sea.
