An old fashion posada, very well kept. The room was comfortable, even though the shower could use some modernisation. The common room on the first floor was a big plus, big tables and space to chill about. Kind staff. The restaurant had a rather small offer but everything was excellent. It would have been nice to have one vegetarian option in the menu (beside the very tasty cheese platter).

We had one evening meal which was a fish dish and it was suberb.
the hotel is only a four mile drive from Potes which has a good choice of bars and restaurants.
Communication with the owner is not overly easy because he does not speak English and we do not speak Spanish but we had lots of fun and laughs trying.
This was the second time we had stayed at this Posada so that speaks volumes.

The location and setting in the mountains is amazing. The old building is also very charming.
The cleaning products used were extremely pungent and unpleasant to those who are sensitive to fragrance. The shower is also very tiny and can be hard to manuever in.
