Exactly what we needed, beautiful room, and the communal lounge exceeded our expectations.

Easy to check in. Beautiful, spacious, well-designed room. Comfortable bed, everything functional as well as attractive.

The soap/ shampoo dispensers had an inside tube that had become detached and needed to be unscrewed from wall to sort it out. As we didn't have a screwdriver, not possible. This was a small detail. But as all the room likely have same dispenser, easily fixed and staff could check regularly.

Practical go to for one or two nights

Got an upgrade for a more spacious room. There’s a nice bathtub which seemed clean.

Pillows are horrible! Both of us slept bad and you don’t expect that in a hotel. Suggest changing it for proper ones asap.

Noisy - I heard things from other rooms and from the street. Soap not working, tissues were scarce, no electricity when keycard removed. 90s design, long past its prime. Looks dirty. Chair not comfortable.

If I were in the area again, it’s likely I would come back.

The staff was — although mostly not Dutch speaking — very friendly. Check in was quick, and it was nice that there was an additional option for parking, although it was at quite the hefty fee of €18. There is a coffee bar that is open 24/7 and can be used free of charge. Upon arrival, we were offered a free glass of Cava and a cup of tomato soup.

Parking was a bit expensive. The hotel did not seem to have any other facilities.

10/10 Stay Experience!

Townhouse Apartments were truly a 10/10. We were a group with 12 people and the beds were so big we comfortably fit 4 people into each room. The beds and pull out couch beds were extremely comfortable with great pillows and linens. The bathrooms in the rooms were also very spacious which is unlike typical Dutch hotel bathrooms! A great bonus is the free soup and coffee/tea in the lobby whenever you want. The breakfast was great with lots of variety of fruits, breads, spreads and warm dishes. The hosts were super kind and helpful. Very attentive and the 24hr reception was perfect also! Overall great value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Maastricht.

Our stay at Townhouse Apartments was made very special with the hospitality and kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the apartment and overall fantastic service provided. The staff went over we above to make me feel super special when they realised it was my birthday. This gesture was greatly appreciated.

An enjoyable stay in Maastricht!

The staff was very helpful and super kind. Our room was exactly as promised and shown on the photos. And in addition there was a small stove top in the kitchen, which we found amazing, especially when travelling with a child. In the hotel just across the street where you check-in, it is possible to get a free coffee throughout the day, and they also serve a soup every day. Amazing! A special added value for me was the ability to use “the living room lobby” across the street in the evening to check emails, and do some work :)

downgraded to hotel across the road with no partial refund.

We had our apartment downgraded and we were moved across the road to the hotel. This was booked 8 months ago. We went from what should have been an apartment to a loft room with no tea/coffee making facilities. We didn't receive any reduction in the cost and had no option but to accept the downgrade as other hotels were all full. The receptionist even referred to it as a downgrade before initially trying to charge us 200 euros more than the original booking price. Book with extreme caution as the attitude at reception was take it or leave it, no apology or effort to resolve the situation.

Recommended if your visiting

The rooms are spacious and clean, everything was very comfortable. The place is across the road from the train station and a short walk into tow. The lounge are in the main reception is a great place to hang out and there's always something on offer to eat. Also we had massages in the attached spa which was great.

Perhaps a coffee machine in the bedroom, would have made the mornings nicer, but you can pop across the road and the coffee from the reception

The staff at the reception desk were very nice and obliging. You immediately feel at home at Townhouse apartments. We particularly appreciated that water, hot drinks and soup together with the added bonus of Easter eggs were offered on the house :) The apartments are in an excellent location, just minutes away from the train station. The apartment was spacious and cozy with the only problem being a seemingly faulty coffee machine.

Horrible stay

Sadly, I forgot two expensive clothing items in the room after check out. Immediately called to ask if they could keep it for me - housekeeping said they “didn’t find anything”. Apparently their staff gets away with this without any consequences and the hotel management compensating to the guest. Would never, ever come here again.

A nice place to stay if you’re not bothered about the finer details.

It was situated in a very convenient location. In terms of the overall stay, I liked and appreciated how in the lobby there were the little leisures like the welcome soup, complimentary coffee/tea/bubbles, a comfortable and cosy atmosphere for guests. This was very well thought of and have a welcoming feel. The beds in the room were very comfortable.

The room was nice but a few small things were a little disappointing. This is why: 1. The heating was not working. We informed the staff at the lobby and they mentioned getting it fixed but the heating remained unfixed. 2. The coffee machine in our room was broken at the time we tried to make coffee. After several attempts and wasted coffee pads, we gave up. We also reported this but the machine was not changed. 3. There was an already opened coffee packet from the previous guest’s stay. This was not pleasant. 4. The mirrors in the bathroom had some backsplash of toothpaste (not severe but still noticeable) which was a bit unpleasant. Apart from this I have to say everything else was very clean. Overall it was not bad.

Fantastic, will be back

The room was fantastic, spacious, warm, nicely decorated, cosy with separate mini kitchen area. The Hotel lobby/reception/living area was brilliant - free tea and coffee, plenty of work spaces or comfy chairs, warm and inviting. All the staff were friendly and helpful - a home away from home. Will definitely be back, Across the road from the trains and buses. Quiet even though we were on the road

location is convenient, near to the central station.

the check in process wasn’t smooth. we came with car and have booked a parking spot in the garage. unfortunately when we enter the garage, it was full and we have to go to a different location. the hotel should have keep track on the number of cars in the garage so we don’t need to drive in and out because there’s no parking spot. when we came to the room, we booked the room for 3 adults but the hotel never set up the sofa bed. i have to came down to ask for bed sheet, blanket and pillow and set up my own bed. there’s no information about the wifi, no soap inside the bathroom. keep in mind that’s no phone to the receptionist and the location of the receptionist is on the opposite of the apartment, hence i have to keep crossing the road to ask for every single details.
