Excellent location right in the Old Town and by a metro stop. My only complaint is that breakfast (which is decent) should start earlier than 8 am.

I had a wonderful stay at Maajed Hotel in Baku’s Old City (Icherisheher). The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the historic area, surrounded by beautiful stone streets, traditional architecture, and famous landmarks. Everything is within walking distance, including the Maiden Tower, local restaurants, and cozy cafés.
The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The rooms are nicely maintained and provide everything needed for a relaxing stay. What impressed me most was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always ready to assist with directions, recommendations, and any requests, making the experience feel very personal.
Another highlight is the peaceful atmosphere. Even though the hotel is located in the lively Old City, it still feels calm and relaxing inside. It’s a great place to unwind after exploring Baku.
I highly recommend Maajed Hotel to anyone visiting Baku who wants to experience the charm of the Old City while enjoying comfortable accommodation and excellent hospitality.

Families with luggage can avoid as hotel is far from road, very good for solo and light travellers who prefer old city vibes. Breakfast was okay, value for money
