Some of these issues have been raised in multiple reviews over the years, apparently to little effect. We arrived to sweltering rooms, no air con or cooling. The managers had to purchase two new fans as only two were provided on site and were totally inadequate for the size of the unit and the heat. Even with the new fans the unit was still hot and stuffy at night. The outer doors/windows in bedrooms could not be left open for a breeze as the inadequate vertical blinds banged in the breeze and let in light. No curtains anywhere, only vertical blinds - would it be too much to put up curtain rails and hang some curtains over the top of the blinds? The fact that there's no air con (really? in 2023?) should be specified on the booking sites. No courtesy soap, body wash, shampoo or conditioner. No welcome pack of milk, tea or coffee. No information folder. Garage only suitable for a small car so we had to park on the road. Multiple unlabelled keys meant lots of trial-and-error unlocking the various doors. Considerable time wasted in the hot rooms trying to find the right keys for the door. Sliding doors were stiff, heavy and very hard to open due to lack of maintenance. Beds difficult to make due to heavy, hard-based mattresses and the queen bed being built in to the bedside units. Linen pack only had flat sheets (no fitted sheets), only one pillowcase per person. Balcony lights could not be turned off at night. Wifi varied from poor to hopeless, seemingly at dial-up speed. TV was small and sound quality was poor, making it hard to hear dialogue. No netflix, sky or any other service provided (surely standard these days?) just the basic free to air channels with many of the channels in the program guide being unavailable. More power points and/or extension leads and multiboards needed. No power point in or near hallway so we could not get any air to circulate to bedrooms. All in all, a disappointing stay.
