This 3 bedroom cottage sits right on the picturesque harbor of Five Islands with views out to the Sheepscot River and beyond. Watch the working lobstermen come and go from shore or bring your own kayak and explore the area from the water. Georgetown has long been a haven for artists drawn the the coastal beauty. Enjoy local Georgetown restaurants, the miles of sandy beaches at Reid State Park just a short ride from the house, or venture to near-by Bath and Boothbay for more dining and shopping opportunities. Please note that this property is located directly in the midst of Georgetown’s working waterfront.

I love this property! This is my 4th time here and i look forward to staying again. The location is fabulous, the view is sublime, and having the lobster, foods, and little store are so convenient. I come to celebrate my birthday with family and because i love Maine. Please figure out a full week or longer for next year for me. (I had to give up my two weeks last year because the pipes in my house burst. Now someone else has my slot, which i had for three previous years.

Despite the rain, this was an awesome stay. Food right next door. Some of the best seafood in Maine. So much to watch on a busy waterfront. Super time.

The house has a wonderful screened porch facing the harbor. Clean & cheerful. The staff was attentive and helpful.

Wonderful little cottage! If you want to get a taste of a Maine working waterfront, this is it!Wake up to the sounds of the gulls and lobster boats going out to get their catch! Bring your pleasure boat and join the fun! Spectacular sunsets viewed from a screened in porch. Where nature and work thrive together! Truly an amazing experience! Let's not forget the General Store and the 5 Islands Lobster Company with plenty of outdoor seating for your lobster feed! All within walking distance. I'll be back!
