Excellent full buffet breakfast, a grand old hotel with emphasis on OLD, i.e.: never updated, very comfortable bed, typically tiny italian shower, steps from train station, a very short train ride from MXP airport, and another short train ride to Milano Centrale, that's a win / win / win in my book, there's also a 15 minute scenic train ride in the other direction to Stresa and the tiny islands, a real wow! I give the hotel 4 stars for these reasons even though it's outdated.

a convenient hotel for our purposes at the right price
The hotel is very well presentend and all the main ground floor facilities are very nice. breakfast was plentiful and good choices of hot or cold items. staff very helpful and polite
The bedroom was very bland, no art on the walls and the room was a bit tired and some fitted furniture could be replaced but we slept well and comfortable

Is rated as 4 star, but not even a slipper for the customer, the bed was very simple , balcony very dirty full of spiderweb.
