Great location—very easy to get to the market and the shops. Short golf cart ride to the beach and clubs. The maritime forest is our favorite spot—so peaceful.

The place was beautiful and spacious. We loved it and enjoyed our time. The owners were wonderful and helpful when we needed anything. I highly recommend staying here.

The home is an architectural treat, with floor to ceiling windows in the living room that make you feel immersed in the backyard forest.
The owners have superb taste in art and design, with something unique, interesting and beautiful to look at on all the walls and shelves. It's like staying in an art gallery - you could spend a rainy afternoon with a tilted head, chin in hand, examining the intriguing works of art and craft.
The owners could not be more helpful and friendly. A special shout out to Plunkett, who called us the day before our check-in to review details with us, and then showed up herself on the last day to supervise and help with the cleaning. She was a delight to chat with.
We've been to BHI a dozen times in the past 24 years, and this was our best experience ever!
