About this apartment rental
recently upgraded 2nd floor apartment with screened in porch overlooking mobile bay. access to a 350 foot pier with covered roof and 2 swings. access to charcoal or gas barbeque area. fish at night and catch speckled trout, white trout, red fish and flounder, float in the bay during the day. or just sit and watch the beautiful sights of mobile bay. 10 minutes south of I-10 , on the way to dauphin island, where you will find ferry service to gulf shores and orange beach. 20 minutes from downtown mobile. don't miss the spectacular sunrises. relax and enjoy your stay !!! Unit has two sets of bunk beds and one regular couch and one fold out couch, full kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker and blender, central heat and ac, bathroom with walk in shower, 50 inch flat screen with direct TV and all movie channels. clean linens and towels provided. grocery store, spirits and dollar store two miles away. we live on a quiet cul-de-sac street I mile off the main road to dauphin island. it's great for walks, jogging or bicycles. 7/11/18 we recently completed a 240 square foot screened in room for our guests downstairs with fans, lights, a swing and lounge, tv, sink, refridge, a gas grill, and a four person table to eat outside if you wish. we call it the man cave. also there is a new outside sitting area with a firepit.

The apartment was clean, although there was mold on both sofas and the recliner. The fishing was great. We never saw or talked to the owners. I did try to contact them about firewood for the firewood for the kids to grill hotdogs and s'mores. I never heard from them Overall we had a great time.

The unit was on the second floor of the garage with a view of the lake. Nice quiet area. Owner was very nice. The bunkbeds were not uncomfortable. The unit was very clean and modern. Perhaps he will replace the broken recliner chair soon. Rental was about a half hr from Mobile downtown and about the same to Dauphin Island.

So peaceful… clean apartment walking distance from the water which provided many fish for us of many varieties… a great getaway place for those who like to be away from it all… we will visit here again!
