About this house rental
Our oceanfront home with pool, spa, and A/C was updated in 2021 and 2022 with new cabinets, countertops, appliances, sinks, faucets and dimmable recessed lighting in kitchen, baths, wet-bar and laundry; all new showers and a free-standing tub in the baths; all new walnut hardwood flooring throughout with new tile in the bathrooms and laundry rooms; new high-end zoned central air conditioning, new ceiling fans; new lighting; all new Cal King mattresses and box springs in all 3 beds; 3 new leather sofas and 3 new leather love-seats in the living, sitting, and family rooms; all new TVs and TV/internet cable; new outdoor furniture; 2 new front-load washers 2 new dryers; repainted almost all of the interior.
Outside, enjoy some of the best snorkeling and surfing on Maui right in front of the home while your friends watch from the spa or pool. The oceanfront home is located on a beautiful cove that is home to numerous green sea turtles. The lanai area includes a pool and spa which overlooks the cove and its rocky beach, ocean, and the island of Molokai. There is direct access to the cove from the house. The home is located on a gated palm-tree lined private road. Next to the property is a 1/2-acre grass field that we own that guests have access to.
The oceanfront home features 3 spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom has a new Cal King bed, new recessed dimmable lighting, a new flat screen TV, new walnut floors, a new ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, new paint, and new air conditioning that can be adjusted for that specific bedroom. The upstairs master bedroom has a Cal King bed and the attached bathroom has a large tub and separate shower. The second upstairs bedroom has a Cal King bed and bath with a walk-in shower. The main floor bedroom has a Cal King bed, a bathroom with a walk-in curb-less shower, and a lanai.
The home has a large, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast eating area and an adjacent family room. There is a separate dining area which seats 6 and a living room with wet bar. Additionally, the home has a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers and a double car garage. The home has wireless internet, cable TV, and gas barbeque.
Our present cancelation policy conditions the return of your payment on whether your days re-rent after you cancel. For example, if all of your days re-rent at the same rate or more, you would receive all of your money back. If none of your days re-rent, you would not receive your money back.
Also, we have a 5 bedroom, 6 1/2 bath beachfront house with pool and spa in Maui (VRBO #445750) and our companies own Silver Mountain Ski Resort, waterpark, golf course, etc. in Kellogg, Idaho right off of I-90, as well as 49 Degrees North Ski Resort, which is 1 hour north of Spokane, WA.
All prices based on a 7-night stay (14 nights during the Christmas/New Year's period). If the booking will result in an unrentable gap in our calendar, the nightly rate may increase. Most stays are Saturday to Saturday, and stays that are not Saturday to Saturday may be at a higher rate. Guest agrees to complete, sign, email and mail the Rental Agreement within 48 hours for booking the house. Booking the home acknowledges acceptance of Rental Agreement.
The home is fully permitted and approved under Vacation Rental Permit #STWM 2013-0020; TA-031-582-0032-01; GE-031-582-0032-01. House Rules in Rental Agreement.
HOUSE RULES (required by Maui County)
1. Quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the short term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area;
2. Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short-term rental home is prohibited;
3. Vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street;
4. No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur; and
5. Note: the shoreline area is the property of the people of Hawai`i, and is open for the free use by everyone.
Also note that the property has a view easement across a neighboring property and that neighboring property has an easement to the ocean across our property. The beach is a rocky beach.

Perfect and super comfortable lodging for us. As local residents from Hāna (and dealing with the aftermath of an unprecedented storm) we sincerely appreciated the kind welcome, ease of arrival and check-in, beautiful location and stunning decor! Mahalo Tryg and Barb for making everything so easy!

Our family of 6 adults spent a wonderful week at this beautiful home. Tryg and Barb were lovely hosts and were quickly available for any questions or needs that arose.Their home is gorgeous, well appointed for big family meals, plenty of room to get together or have quiet time alone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Trig and Barb's property and the listing information and photos are extremely accurate. We have stayed at many condos in Hawaii but this stand alone property we significantly more well appointed than any property we have visited. The kitchen has everything you will possibly need. The supplies such as towels, tissues, laundry and small job cleaning supplies are abundant. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The garage contains a lot of beach, snorkel, and pool toys which was a nice bonus. Thank you for a great stay!
