The view is exceptional. I doubt there is a better view in North Devon
I booked and then within 2 hrs I needed to cancel as I had the dates wrong. The host was completely inflexible even though I have stayed a number of times before. Due to the booking dates being unable to be changed whilst I was there I needed to work and although there is a dining table its difficult to use when everyone else is on holiday. I expect many people are in the same boat and it would be great to have a useful desk on one of the rooms. Also the drains in the main room loo cupboard smell - to a significant extent. The drains needs a good overhall.

We loved our stay in the Penthouse at Chalet Saunton. The apartment was amazing, and the location was perfect. We needed assistance during our stay and were helped immediately.
There were no faults. It was perfect. We would love to stay again.

It is a well thought out. beautiful space. APT 4 is ground floor from rear of property where main building entrance is...yet at the front, all the advantage of being first floor with lovely balcony overlooking Saunton Sands. Appliances great...shower lovely, veds very comfortable...
We were there for a birthday but no corkscrew/ bottle opener, hairdryer or bioethanol for the media wall fireplace.....no first day milk or tea bags and couldn't find a tea cloth for small wash ups ....so tiny things but a bit disruptive if you are only there for a short stay.
