Good location, property was ideal for a short break. Friendly host and good communication

Due to having slight mobility issues I found the stairs a little difficult. Overall there was nothing to dislike.

Easy check in, comfortable cottage with decent facilities. Property owner was friendly and communitive. Property allows self check in for late arrivals

It was fine. Dawn was friendly and helpful and responsive.

There were a few issues for me sadly. I may have been in too much of a rush when I booked but I thought the place I’d booked was bigger. The photos on booking.com started out with a two-bed place which was what I thought I’d booked - with a larger lounge and an outside area. So I was shocked to discover how mini the place was. Is there something that needs to be altered in the booking.com entry to make sure others don’t make this mistake? Or was I being stupid? I’m not totally sure. The main other reason for my less than perfect answers, is that I arrived late in the evening in the middle of a heat wave. The House was stiflingly hot when I let myself in at 10 pm. It would have been really helpful if the windows could have been opened on the upper floor to let Air in, so that I could’ve slept in the top bedroom. I spent my first night on cushions on the floor in front of the fan. Of course circumstances were out of the ordinary. But for future reference I hope this could be something you could do if any other guests find themselves in similar circumstances. The other thing was I couldn’t find wifi details on the house manual. The passwords had been crossed out. It would be good to have them readily available as I had an online meeting the following morning and no wifi.
