Just great.

We stayed here for a week with our 1 year old daughter. Fantastic. Appartment was big with a seperate room for our daughter. Everything was there for cooking, washing clothes and dishwasher. Also a kids bed and kids seat which was great. The garden was very spacious and our daughter really liked the chickens and horse:) Restaurant next door was nice too for lunch or diner. Great host and hostess. Would recommend to anyone who likes a holiday to get away from it all but still want some things to do in the area. Will come back.

Les Vincelles is an idyllic place, we were made very welcome and memories will stay with me.

The owner, Magalie was very welcoming, the site is idyllic with woodland, a large picturesque garden, places to wander and eat outside. Many birds and other wildlife. Easy access by transport to Puy-de-Dome, Vulcania and places of interest.. Excellent base for walking, cycling, touring by car. Supermarkets a few minutes' drive away. Tasteful apartments in picturesque hunting lodge. Equipped with high quality furnishings and all that's needed for self-catering. Les Vincelles is a delightful relaxing place to stay.

Superb

Wonderful host, informative welcome booklet, large beautiful garden that transforms into woodland as you follow up the hill. A swing on a tree, plenty of space to sit and read a book… A few happy chickens run around; and a graceful white horse is grazing next to the property. Small restaurant right next to the “gîte” looks very nice (Le Vinzelles) but we weren’t able to go (closed Sunday night). Quiet spot and extremely conveniently located for hiking (Puy de Dôme, Puy de la Vache), several lakes and Vulcania - all within about a 20-25min drive.

What a beautiful place!

What an amazing place, amazing hosts, amazing everything. We stopped for one night on our way to Ireland from Italy. Grounds are very beautiful, everything inside is simple but very comfortable and cute. Hosts are very caring. We will definitely come back next year to this hotel, but for longer. Fresh air, fresh water, kids and dogs friendly, just simply amazing.

Relaxing and Peaceful Inn

Clean, tidy, quiet, lots of green, relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend this inn especially for families with little kids. There is a handmade little park in the garden. You can take a walk very large area, feed chickens and fishes or take a nap outside. Also You can enjoy BBQ. There are a supermarket and a bakery in 5mins by car, which was convenient. The owner couple was so kind, even we don’t speak fluent French. The room was clean and very well organized. (Just small attention, don’t forget to take laundry detergent with you.) I wish I could stay 2 more weeks. We had planned to go out, but we rather spent lots of time staying in the inn.

The room/appartment was spacious but not as cosy as the other appartments. However very convinient as on one floor (no stairs) with easy access to the garden.

Un gîte idéal

Nous avons passé 6 jours très agréables dans ce vieux manoir parfaitement restauré tout en gardant son authenticité, offrant 3 appartements plus une dépendance pour des sejours en Auvergne. Notre gîte Les Châtaigniers avait 2 belles chambres confortables où il faut souligner l'excellente insonorisation, aucun bruit de l'extérieur n'est venu perturber notre sommeil malgré la circulation de la route proche, super ! Beaucoup de sites à visiter assez proche, vraiment un bel endroit.

Un séjour agréable, mais pas à la hauteur de nos attentes, tarif excessif par rapport aux photos...

Nous avons apprécié le calme et la propreté...

Cher pour les prestations... Pas de petit-déjeuner, et surtout, photos trompeuses montrant le superbe pavillon de chasse, alors que nous étions hébergés dans un petit logement (ancienne cave voûtée, soit), indépendant du bâtiment principal (alléchant) montré sur les photos ! On frôlerait presque la publicité mensongère, dans ce sens nous avons été déçus... Dommage !

Séjour tout confort

L’établissement est très bien situé pour randonner dans la région. Il y a de très nombreuses randonnées au départ de Volvic, ainsi que toutes les commodités. Le gîte était propre, confortable avec tous les équipements nécessaires. La propriété est magnifique, et les hôtes chaleureux et adorables. Je recommande vivement et je n’hésiterai pas à revenir !
