Hostal Siesta & Go Nuevos Ministerios

It's right on the center of the city, also right next to Nuevos Ministerios, so easy to get there and to get around, it's kinda tricky to get there because it's not that straight forward, but you get used to it, I got a single room and just to be around Madrid was more than enough, and the bed was comphy

The only thing would be that it's close to a bar/disco (not sure) so during nights it was a bit noisy and depends on the people you find, but if you enter through the other side it's way easier.

Good location, especially helpful when you come from the airport and want to stay overnight. A private single room was cosy and gave you enough privacy.

There are no windows inside so it feels a bit strange and a bit cold if you’re staying in winter, but that’s how the whole Spain is though.

THe staff was wondeful and the bathrooms were always very clean considering this was a Hostel

I liked the staff and the cleanness of the place

The bed, once in it, was comfortable, although it was very stuffy and hot. The room and bathrooms were clean.

The atmosphere, lead by the staff, was, at best, flat. Zero atmosphere, almost totalitarian, with zero space to relax and meet other travellers. I requested a lower bunk some weeks before my arrival, it turns out I had the top (third level). When I asked if I could possibly be moved I was told there would be a surcharge of 5€. As I felt I had already overpaid for what was on offer I declined. The area is unpleasant.
