Karikari Lodge

For the price the breakfast was great s and very appreciated A little freshly baked banana loaf went down a treat

This was our second stay at the Karikari Lodge and we plan to stay again! We cannot commend this lodge highly enough and would not hesitate to recommend it to everyone we come in contact with. Once again, thank you, Paul and Katalina, for making our two-day getaway a wonderful experience

For us...everything was perfect!!

Had the best sleep ever, love the bed and the pillows were just right. 😊

Not having the time to stay and enjoy Karikari lodge. Spent most of the time out visiting family and enjoying the scenery, beaches being a 1st time in Karikari

The room was spacious, clean, neat, and tidy.

We were not greeted by the hosts themselves but by a third person who immediately asked us for payment, even though we hadn't yet placed our luggage in the room. This felt inappropriate and made us uncomfortable. Not quite what we would expect from a lodge. That aside, our hosts were friendly. I personally found the common areas cluttered with too many objects, leaving little room to make the space my own. What was most uncomfortable was sharing the bathroom and other common areas with a group of workers, although they were polite, as the only female guest in an exclusively male environment. The parking is also tight, requiring some coordination to leave the property. Overall, the stay went well, but it was not entirely comfortable.
