Onsen here is very satisfied. Staffs are always helpful and polite. Excellent services

The premise is by the river; however with lush green big trees, from our rooms we couldn’t see the gorge clearly. Otherwise the view would be top notch!

The hotel was beautiful and the walking path to our cottage from the hotel felt like a scene straight out of a Gibili movie. The view from our cottage room was lovely. Though the rooms leaned slightly to the older side I personally thought it was well maintained and very comfortable. Staff were very polite and welcoming. No water bottles or coffee in rooms but there was a complimentary coffee and water area just past the lobby. Guests were free to use it. They offered lovely yukatas and room slippers for use inside the property. We didn't get the chance to use it because we were too tired from sightseeing around the area but we were informed about their public and private onsens (the private onsens have to be reserved beforehand for a fee). They had onsite restaurents, with breakfast etc but if you prefer to eat out there are some local restaurents and cafes within walking distance. There is also a 711 located very close to the hotel. Overall it was a very lovely stay.

Great rooms, really nice onsen. Clean uncomfortable only a five minute walk from the station if that. Also conveniently right next to 7-Eleven.

Staff called the room several times in the morning when the checkout was 12 wanting me to pay for a massage that I had the night before when the woman told me to pay at the front desk at checkout.

The view is amazing. The location is prime and beautiful. Onsen were great and relaxing

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews BUT- we took the “cottage” room- The room was a disaster. Old, dirty, stuffy. I got an allergy reaction from sleeping for just one night in this room. I wish I had some wipes to start cleaning the room myself… anyways it was a cheap option but we didn’t realize the hotel had decent rooms and then really bad rooms, I think it takes from the whole hotel’s reputation. Pictures are misleading, as it is not really being maintained. It reminds me of a dorm rather than hotel. Don’t fall for the cheap price and beautiful photos. The walls, the knobs, the window- need deep cleaning. The bathtub had tiny bugs in it, and outside of the room smelled like gas.
