Popham Beachfront And Oceanfront Cottage with Water and Beach Views

We had the most wonderful stay at this cottage on beautiful Popham Beach! We were a little unsure how it would be because sometimes older houses are not well-maintained but that was not the case here. It has so much character, was well built, cared for, and beautifully maintained. There was plenty of room for our kids to play in the living room, comfortable couches, delightful porch, and everything was nice and clean. We had to bring our own towels and sheets (which was no problem) but everything else had been thought of and there were plenty of blankets, toilet paper, trash bags, and cleaning supplies. The kitchen was well equipped with all of the things we would need to cook while we stayed there. There was also a stack of kid's books that brought so much joy to our kids to look through and read to them at breakfast before heading to the beach. Jonathan was kind enough to check in with us during our stay and there was nothing else we needed. Our son uses a wheelchair and the house was quite accessible for him with a ramp to the door. There is a small lip going into the porch but it was easy for us to help his chair in and out with a little extra push. There were a few stairs down to the beach, but less than most properties and the lawn was nice and flat and smooth, easy for access for our family and kids. We will absolutely be back and this will be our go-to place if they have an opening for us each year!

Our stay at Jonathan’s place was perfect. We enjoyed waking up each day and having coffee while taking in the breathtaking views from the comfort of the living room and dining room. Checking in was very easy, the house was very clean, and the house has all of the necessary items to make our vacation feel like we were home.

Our family's vacation at Jonathan's property was wonderful. The spacious living/dining was perfect for our family to be together and comfortably visit, enjoy the ocean sights from the large pictures windows and have multiple cribbage games going on at the same time. The large yard allowed for us to play whiffle ball, croquet, frisbee and/or read and relax in the chairs. The ocean is just steps away from the property, couldn't be better. Jonathan was available and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend! We are a family of 5 adults, 2 children and an infant. Looking forward to next year!
