A great break in a smashing apartment.

A great home-from-home, so much more relaxing than a hotel. Everything was very comfortable and well-appointed, with most home comforts provided. Good location (opposite Waitrose) and just a 10 minute brisk walk to the town centre. The host and his dad were very helpful and contactable in advance and during our stay.

In this case, 'free parking' does not mean 'onsite parking'. However the host arranged for a parking pass and we were able to park safely and reasonably conveniently just a couple of hundred yards away and withing site of the apartment. On a 21st century note, we were unable to connect to the wi-fi but that did not detract from our enjoyment.

Highly recommended, beautiful flat and close to town centre

The flat itself was beautiful, well decorated and felt so homely. It was also so close to town which helped because we walked into the town centre every day and could pop back at any time quickly. Jamie and Martin were so brilliant and helpful and made our stay amazing. Check in was quick and simple, parking was a stones throw away and the stay itself was brilliant. The size of the rooms too were great, and the facilities were exactly what you needed!!

Stay was great, had everything needed to be able to eat in but also close to town to eat out.

Great location, great facilities, quiet, balcony is great when hot

The bedding didnt smell fresh, it smelt foisty as if washed and not dried properly. The pillows were very pungent I did wonder if they had not been washed but they appeared clean not sure if it was the actual pillows or the cases that smelt.

Stayed several times. The apartment is superb, I could quite easily live there. James and family are great and very helpful. My 'go to' place when I'm working in Gloucestershire. Faultless 10/10.

Good location, lovely town, flat not as described.

Convenient location, good public transport links.

The bed is not super king as described but only a king size 5ft. The TV is not as described 32inch not 43 inch. The toaster contained debris from probably six months. The fridge smelt and needed cleaning. Levels of lighting are quite poor and the water boiler is noisy (all night). Cupboard in front of one of the heaters and lots of clutter everywhere especially filling all kitchen cupboards.

Perfect short break - would definitely recommend!

Lovely apartment with clean and modern facilities. The location was absolutely perfect and the host was very attentive! We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning with a cuppa and felt like this really added to our experience.

Lovely stay would stay again

Lovely clean and tidy all good value for money everything in the apartment that you would need good instructions of how to get to and in

Only 1 problem but didn’t bother the owner as was leaving the next morning the WiFi signed us out went to log in again and it said incorrect password even though I was using the one off the router so not sure what happened

nice place just the directions and information were a problem.

Location was close to a supermarket hence handy for supplies. Once contact with owner was established parking near the entrance was arranged

We had difficulty following the youtube directions for entry. The phone number listed didn't answer. A compendium of the facilities would have been useful such as how to log onto the wifi.

Lovely flat in a great location

A great flat in a fab location - just across from Waitrose, and quick to get into town. We enjoyed breakfast on the sunny balcony, and the bed was really comfy. The owner was very helpful and sent really good info through in advance of our stay, which made checking in really easy. Would recommend!

Not a big problem, but worth knowing that the parking is permitted on street a few mins walk away. We parked right outside the flat on waitrose carpark to load/unload. There were a few extra things in the kitchen that would have been helpful to have, but not a big deal.

My Stay When In Gloucestershire

Superb as usual. Stayed at the apartment a few times now. Absolutely faultless. Everything works, 2 supermarkets on the doorstep, one expensive quality, one average price and quality. Free parking, just superb all round.

Bit of a walk from parking the car to the apartment (we are talking 30 seconds) but you can borrow a trolley to carry your things! Absolutely faultless.

Nice apartment well laid out, handy for super market and easy walking access to the town and local attractions.

Nothing really, only a minor observation/suggestion . Think the apartment could do with some place mats and coasters to avoid damaging tables and cabinets with hot drinks/plates etc
