About this house rental

Beautiful, newly built in 2013 cottage under thatch on a private horse farm in Schierensee. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large dining area in fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven and microwave. Fireplace, underfloor heating, oak flooring throughout the house. Sauna use possible. Washing machine and dryer. Fantastic view of typical Holstein landscape with woods and meadows. Bathing place on the beautiful Lake Schierensee about 1.5 km away. Distance to Kiel and the Baltic Sea beaches 20 min. Row house with optimal location to the south and west, large terrace and children's playhouse. Abstellhaus for bicycles. Pets allowed only by prior arrangement. Long-haired dogs may only be kept in the entrance hall and bathroom on the ground floor. Dogs are not allowed in the garden to walk around freely and have to do their business outside the yard.

Location was perfect for visiting multiple places in Schleswig-Holstein. Very nice house with all amenities - quiet and peaceful surrounding. Only caveat, Internet connection was really poor.

We had a wonderful experience. The setting is idyllic and a quick drive into Kiel. The house was spacious and clean, and the kitchen has everything you could need. Our family of 5 had more than enough space. The owners are helpful and kind, and introduced us to the new foal born just a week earlier! I just wish our trip was a little less busy so that we could have had more time exploring the property!

This beautiful house was charming and well equipped for our group of 5. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very well laid out, and comfortable beds meant that we all slept well. We found lovely walks in the area and enjoyed watching the gorgeous horses roam the property. The grounds were impressively landscaped and the view from every window was like a postcard. The owners were friendly and helpful. Although it was within easy reach of Kiel, one had the feeling of being far far away from city life. We enjoyed our time very much and had a lovely relaxing break.

This is an amazing house on a horse farm. It is quite and has a great view overlooking fields. It is also walking distance to a beautiful lake. The kitchen is very up to date and is equipped with all the cookware you would ever need. The beds are also new and very comfortable. The owners live next door and are very nice.
