The Fuhrer family's house is a nice cottage in a village. The house is cozy and looks like one from a fairytale. It gave us a feeling of home and we loved every moment there. We get the key from a lady living next door. What we loved there was the silence, the feeling of being out of the crazy world. Hohenalthaim is a small village and a perfect place to start exploring the beautiful Bavaria. In an area of 80 km you have so many nice small cities, villages and castles to explore. Nordlingen is the most beautiful of all and is about 15 km. We wish we could stay there longer.
Mosquito nets on more windows would be a plus.
