It is very spacious and the kitchen is well fitted out. Riccardo is very friendly and reliable. The view is great, plenty of room for 6 or more people. TV & Internet were very good. The kitchen is bright welcoming and the living area very comfortable.

There is an extreme chemical type smell in the entire downstairs area. It may have to do with wood polish or because the rooms have not been aired sufficiently recently. The road outside had just been tarred and perhaps that made things worse. Opening all doors & windows helped, but something needs to get done about it (for example fully airing the place for a week or two). The grill in the barbecue area itself is fine, but I would seriously suggest getting that looking more welcoming, it would not take too much work, a nicer garden table, a bit of paint etc. Right now it was ok for grilling the food but we ate in the kitchen as there is more space and it is much more open. Not. really a problem but worth mentioning, there is not a single shop or restaurant in the village, but within a 10 minute drive you have everything.

In a small village with a lot of walks nearby, wonderful views from top of the hills. In winter no problem to park the car, there are two places just in front of the house, both were available during the whole week We used barbecue only once (and neighbors were so impressed to see us outside that offered us a lot of oranges), but it is very nice place when it's not too cold - closed from winds ans under a big fig tree
