Location was perfect for us. We enjoy staying in interesting buildings. the dining table and chairs were nice. It was very quiet. Parking was good.

We appreciate that the building was very old, but one radiator for the whole apartment wasn't enough and it was cold particularly in the bedroom. There was a radiator in the bathroom but we couldn't get this to work. The instructions including the wifi code were on a piece of paper in a drawer which we didn't see to begin with and so we had to call someone to get the wifi code. I had already had to email before we went there to ask for instructions for parking and the door access. The sofa wasn't particularly comfortable. The bed was made up with a very thin duvet but thankfully we found a thick uncovered duvet to put on top as otherwise we would have been very cold at night. The shower in the bathroom took a lot of fiddling to work out how to turn it on. Some information about the Manoir and the local area would have been great. Also some suggestions for places to eat, visit, nearest supermarkets, pharmacies would have been really helpful.

Gorgeous apartment in historic stone building in quiet lovely garden setting

Gorgeous apartment in a very historic building with quiet large garden space with table and chairs. Apartment was large, lovely and comfortable with serviceable kitchen area. Our apartment was up one flight of curved stairs and the bedroom was up another straight stairs. The updated modern door lock to the outside might be a bit tricky for non-Europeans: to lock you turn the key AND lift the handle and then KEEP turning the key to lock. Plentiful parking is just outside the arch entrance in a large parking place for the sports complex, You may unload and load your vehicle closer to the arch gate.

Directions in GOOGLE MAPS are WRONG. You MUST approach from the WEST on Rue de Redon, turning East at the roundabout onto Chem. de Barbotin. Follow the fork on the right and you will pass a day care center and the Barbotin is at the end of the street. Only cold water in the sink in our bathroom. Exterior rubbish bin is hidden opposite the front glass entry door.

Couldn't work the tv without a struggle - same with coffee machine ( only 2 pods, one wasted experimenting!) No instructions. Rooms were quite dark.

A busy weekend. I was happy to find somewhere quiet, clean and comfortable.

I felt that i was living in a very old, well-restored building with a lot of history and many interesting stories to tell! Very clean. Nice hot water. Good quality toiletries. Comfy bed. Helpful hosts.

The garden in front of the accommodation looks in need of some tender loving care! Some of the paintings on the walls were not very cheerful, but that may be just my taste!

L’absence de service. Le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de parking privatif au sein de l’établissement. Qu’avec une température de -2C à l’extérieur, le chauffage n’était pas assez fort pour réchauffer ce duplex dans une vielle maison. Et l’absence de couverture. Non recommandable

L'emplacement, la taille de l'appartement, le lieu chargé d'histoire, la décoration, la litterie, le confort et l'ambiance chaleureuse, les échanges sympathiques avec l'hôte.

La cuisine mériterait d'être un peu rafraîchie, la salle de bain mériterait une protection autour de la douche /baignoire pour éviter de mettre de l'eau partout.

Experiencia muy especial

Reservamos aquí de casualidad, pero fue una oportunidad extraordinaria de alojarnos en un edificio que derrocha historia. Laura nos recibió amablemente y nos contó detalles de la historia y restauración de este sitio tan singular, documentado desde el año 1390. No hagan caso de comentarios negativos: la casa es preciosa por dentro, la cocina está perfectamente equipada y tiene todo lo necesario. La cama es cómoda y se duerme con el silencio propio de estar alojado en el campo. Hay un amplio aparcamiento justo delante del edificio, en el que siempre sobra espacio, todo ello en una zona residencial muy tranquila y segura. Fuimos andando al centro y fue un paseo relajado.

No encontramos ningún punto negativo. A nuestro apartamento se accedía por una estrecha escalera de caracol.. algo lógico en un edificio histórico de carácter defensivo. Si quieren ascensor y aire acondicionado vayan a cualquier impersonal hotel de 4 estrellas que mañana no recordarán.

Simpa de l’extérieur mais arriver à l’intérieur dommage les finitions ne sont pas là la douche pas entretenu la cuisine manquais la porte du frigo, lit pas confortable, organisation du logement à revoir vaisselle dans la chambre bref pas top au vu des autre gîte fait. La balnéothérapie était plutôt Simpa, même si les joints noir laissaient à désirer.

Très bel appartement au sein d’un manoir, joliment décoré. Confortable, au calme et bien équipé. Idéalement situé pour visiter les environs. Grand parking gratuit juste devant.

Lieu très calme pour un séjour en couple.

Les éléments positifs : la taille du logement, la proximité des sites touristiques, la situation de l'appartement dans un quartier très calme, la présence d'une kitchenette.

La proximité de l'alarme incendie de la plaque de cuisson. Elle s'est déclenchée lorsque je préparais le diner. Attention à l'irrégularité des marches pour accéder au salon (hauteur et largeur des marches différentes). C'est le charme de l'ancien mais il y a toutefois un risque de chute... Surtout si on porte une valise.

l'emplacement pas idéal à côté d'un grand parking et d'une plaine des sports. Pas en phase avec le côté "manoir". Et gros problèmes d'insonorisation avec le logement voisin, nous entendions tout des conversations; c'était un peu gênant pour l'intimité.

El edificio es fabuloso y e interior está muy bien equipado y con una decoración apropiada con el hotel y con mucho gusto. Hermoso jardín para disfrutar al aire libre cuando hace buen tiempo

Hay que realizar algo de mantenimiento: grifo del fregadero y de la ducha, tapicería de silla en habitación
