About this house rental

Cottage House is one block to beach and one block to downtown. Central air conditioning and heating. It's the perfect location for a Laguna Beach vacation. 3 Bedroom, 2 baths, two master bedroom suites each with bathroom en suite and a Ca king bed. Queen Sleeper sofa in living, third small bedroom with a twin size bed. Kitchen and master bath with all the modern conveniences. The house has dishwasher, laundry and patios including outdoor BBQ and large private patio on the front of the house with lots of outdoor furniture. The house includes parking on-site. During the summer the free trolley service is available to take you north or south anywhere in town and beyond. The bus stop for both directions is right across the street from the house on PCH. Everything (beach across the street, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc.) are within walking distance from the house. You can park your car on the property and walk everywhere. If you need additional onsite free parking, a 2nd parking spot may be available upon request. Contact the owner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten day stay at Lou’s cottage! The layout of the property was perfect for me, my mother, niece and two young adult sons. The cottage itself was lovely with great attention to detail - but the big story is the location! We only used our car three times during the whole stay. It is in the heart of everything! Less than 5 minute walk to the Village and Main Beach. We walked to Heisler Park twice a day! (do not miss sunsets at Heisler)We have stayed at rental properties across Laguna Beach and this location can not be beat!

Absolutely recommend staying at this property! Lou was able to get us checked in a few hours early, which was so helpful as we were in town for a wedding and needed to be at the welcome party fairly early. The place was very clean, had plenty of space, and was fully stocked with everything we needed. We were also in walking distance to a bunch of restaurants/bars. Lou graciously shared Laguna Beach recommendations ahead of time, which we loved. Thanks for a great stay!!

The property was perfect for our family of 4 adults, a toddler and preschooler. It was clean, well-stocked and very comfortable. The house is one block from the beach in a perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would go back again. We would recommend it highly.

The home was very clean, with two king beds made it nice for the adults. And one small twin room was perfect for our 2 1/2 year-old. It was an amazing location that allowed us to walk easily to restaurants and shops. As well as having a parking spot downtown was convenient. Our 2 1/2 year-old loved the courtyard where he could play in a fenced in area.

The photographs don't do the cottage justice. It was brighter and roomier than we expected. It was a wonderful location that allowed us to walk to the beach and Pageant in minutes. The local free trolley facilitated adventures farther down the coast. The cost for being so centrally located was a bit of traffic noise, especially when relaxing in the front yard. We would definitely stay there again!

The location and property were just perfect. Very clean, very up-to-date and lots of amenities. Lou is a great host. We have stayed at multiple properties they host and they never disappoint. We will be staying there again hopefully very soon. Can’t wait to go back.

The Laguna property was absolutely fabulous! We were able to walk to all the local establishments during the crazy 4th of July week. It was wonderful to stay for a family wedding. The grandkids enjoyed the beach toys and we all enjoyed a BBQ dinner our last night. Thank you to our gracious host.

Loved this well-maintained beach house! Super great instructions for checking in, everything you will need for your stay including beach towels and beach chairs. Lots of street noise, but that’s the trade off for the perfect location. We just closed the windows at night, and I always travel with ear plugs anyway. Planned on taking the free trolley, but we really had no trouble walking everywhere, even my cousin who uses a cane. Loved the short walk right across the coast highway at the crossing light to The Cliff restaurant for ocean-view dinner and cocktails. Would definitely book this vacation home again.

This is a great home right near the center of town. It's larger than it appears in the photos and beautifully furnished. It is well appointed with just about everything you could need. The only thing to note is it's up a hill from town, easy for most renters but challenging for someone with agility issues. Lou is an excellent host, welcoming and concerned with your enjoing Laguna Beach.

This house was spectacular! It is so close to downtown that we ended up walking everywhere. The house is very sound as well, so the street noise was not loud at all. The house was very clean, and very comfortable. I feel like the pictures do not do the house justice. It is very updated and beautiful. We traveled with our 4 kids (all under 10 years), and it was the perfect house for them. The front patio is extremely secure, and it gave them the space to play outside safely. The house has everything you need-beach toys, boogie boards, chairs for the beach, towels. And Lou was so communicative. I am so lucky to have had the chance to stay here. We will definitely come back and stay in the future.

Great location, super clean, so well stocked, well maintained, detailed instructions about various features of the house that were helpful. Very short walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. It was perfect for our stay in Laguna. One note, it is on a busy road on one side so the early morning road noise can be disruptive but nothing ear plugs can’t fix!

We LOVED our stay here! I’ve stayed in numerous places around Laguna since I left in 2007 to move to Tennessee. I grew up in this town and always return to fill my soul with the little piece of heaven, that I miss so much. Lou’s place just added to the amazing stay we had. His place is perfect for a family! It was myself my two daughters and my grandson who is 3. I had two friends come visit us that still live in California and both of them were very complementary of the house. The location couldn’t be any better to everything that you need. We used the beach chairs and the umbrellas that are provided and walked ourselves to the beach for the day. Lou is very accommodating and communication was excellent. Thanx Lou! we will be back! Till next time☀️ 🌊☀️

We recently stayed at this property at had the best time! The house is in an amazing location close to the beach, Main Street and all that downtown Laguna has to offer! We where able to walk to town easily with two strollers and everyone was very comfortable at the house as it is clean and spacious! We felt like locals! The location of this cabin couldn't be any better. We could walk to everything -cafes, restaurants, shops - and Main Beach was very convenient to carry all our beach chairs and towels. Loved our stay. Location is easy walk to beach (we went every day) and easy to enjoy the shops and food and fun in Laguna Beach. Plenty of patio space. House is well stocked with everything that you’d need. Gracious hosts. Having 2 parking spaces was very convenient. . We were doing a family reunion and rented both Units. Lots of fun. Had bbq.

We stayed in this charming cottage that is located right across the street from the beach! Now, it doesn't have a view but the location and the comfort of the house more than make up for that one disadvantage. Lou, the owner, was so easy to work with. He had the home ready for our arrival with plenty of staples to start our stay. We were there for 2 weeks and he even offered to replenish a few things if that was needed. The home itself is great with a big den and two bedrooms with private baths each. There is one smaller room that has a twin bed perfect for a single adult or kids. The couch also pulls out into a bed so there is plenty of room for sleeping. The home has two patio areas to choose from. There is also a great off road spot to park your car. I definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting a great stay in one of the most quaint towns.
