Pajara Rugiada

A perfect location up a steep hill and on unmade access road, peaceful as other properties close by were unoccupied at this time. . over looking the sea in the distance from the terrace and walking distance (up and down the hill) to a great natural sea pool for swimming. A stunning property beautifully coverted, just as the website photographs show. Fantastic, kind, helpful agent Chiara both before our visit and during it with great advice for everything including hikes, although there are very few and many more cycling trails. Comfortable for 2 with air conditioning, very necessary in 30o + and a washing machine! A new toaster was even driven over to us when there wasn’t one at the house. June was a great time to go with beautiful hot sunny weather and relatively quiet as apparently July and August are very busy indeed. No food shops close by in the village so it is worth bringing provisions from the large supermarkets in Tricase, Corsano or Gagliano del Capo and check with the agent first what foodstuffs are provided like oilve oil. Luckily there are lots of picnic bag ice blocks… we had ours confiscated at Gatwick as it contained over 100ml fluid! Only one expensive restaurant in the village.

Some bugs outside in the evenings so worth bringing insect repellent, otherwise nothing at all.

Very enjoyable stay in this property. It is well equipped with everything you need to stay a few days. It is very scenic and peaceful and relaxing. A special mention to Chiaro, she is an absolute pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful in answering any questions and helping where required.

Lovely small house, on top of a hill, with privacy & surrounded by greenery, loved it. Near to Some nice hikes and places to swim. Bed was super comfy! Slept really well.

Kitchen equipment was ok (Missed some Sharp cutting knives) and shower was hot but only for 2 min, then it turned cold again. Luckily we are fast ;) also the weather was good so a not so warm shower was not that much of a problem for us.
