Die unerwartet sehr geschmackvolle Unterkunft wird von einem sehr freundlichen älteren Paar geführt, sie kocht jeden Abend ausgezeicht, er macht Ausflüge ins Delta. Es sind 12 kleine sehr schöne Appartements in drei doppelstöckigen Traditionshäusern, entweder mit Terrasse oder Balkon. Alles ist sehr persönlich und herzlich. Für die Region aber auch anspruchsvoll im Preis.

Pensiunea este amenajată cu mult gust, până în cele mai mici detalii. De pe braț pot fi observate păsări spectaculoase – pelicani, rațe sălbatice, codalbi etc – un experienta rara, pentru că pe celalte brațe ale Dunării traficul mai intens alungă fauna. Canalele sunt liniștite și mai libere, ceea ce îți permite să te bucuri în tihnă de frumusețea locului. Un bonus cu adevărat special a fost excursia la Periprava, un loc prea puțin cunoscut, care nu primește recunoașterea memorială pe care o merită.
În localitate nu există alternative reale de petrecere a timpului sau opțiuni de servit masa în afara pensiunii. Din păcate, Chilia nu are încă infrastructură turistică dezvoltată – nu sunt restaurante sau alte locuri de ieșit – așa că întreaga experiență depinde exclusiv de pensiune și de excursiile organizate de aceasta.
