The villa is in a great location with wonderful views, spacious and very quiet.

It was very difficult to locate the property. Portvil gave very poor instructions (only a map reference - no driving instructions). We had to ring them to send out someone to take us there. Some of the kitchen appliances are old (eg gas cooker). There is poor lighting in the kitchen for cooking. The TV doesn't work. There is no phone reception at the villa. We kept getting conflicting messages from Portvil and from Booking, which was very stressful. Portvil relies on Whatsapp to communicate with visitors, but it didn't work with us and we couldn't load their App. This is a problem given the remote location of the villa.

Fabulous location, very secluded. House is obviously a much loved family home.

Pool was only cleaned once in 2 weeks. It’s fed by a mountain spring, which is wonderful, but the steps and bottom got slippery with algae after 2 weeks. There was NO info in the house on instructions, local area, restaurants, doctors, etc. Very strange. Outside areas were unswept and looked scruffy on arrival. Key wasn’t where it said it would be. Indoor sofas not comfortable. No sun shades were out when we arrived, we had to get one brought over from letting agents. I feel sorry for the owners of this house, they obviously love this property , but are being let down by their letting agents.
