Overall the apartment is impressive, but did have a limited view of the lake.

Spacious, plenty of storage. Liked the two shower rooms, and good sized bedrooms.

Sofa very hard, not very comfortable. The only view of the lake from the inside of the apartment was from the dining room table. North facing, didn’t get any sun during the day, that maybe good during the summer months but in October not so good! The shower drainage drain hadn’t been cleaned, resulting in the tray over flowing!

Excellent quality of accommodation facilities are NOT available all year around.

The room and access were superb. We felt safe and the apartment was well equipped and beautifully clean

Within the promotion of these apartments the leisure facilities were definitely a large influence in our selection process to visit these apartments. We were a water sports focused group of friends so the guest access to the swimming pool and Jacuzzi were much anticipated. The pool was officially closed when we arrived, with a few of our party unable to gain access. The Jacuzzi had been emptied some time previously. No heating in the pool made it uncomfortably cold to swim in. The limited access to reception staff daily at 3-5 pm meant that unless you stayed around the apartment to talk to someone you really didn't have much support

Location 📍 Right beside the lake. View from the balcony. I booked the mountain view. My two-bedroom apartment had two balconies, one attached to the bedroom and the other to the hall and dining area. It was comfortable and clean. The swimming pool was open. I stayed from October 10th to October 14th. I would recommend booking the lake view apartment, which has a large balcony facing the pool and lake. The view is amazing, and the hall is very spacious. It's definitely worth the extra money spent on the lake view apartment.

Nice view, nice location, nice apartment

Really nice spacious apartment. The apartment on the ground floor had a nice sized patio and yard and beautiful views of the pool and lake. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Really nice with well stocked kitchen. Located very close to the lake and walking distance to restaurants and the town. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool and whirlpool was nice. Plenty of chairs for sunning and laying out. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Superb

Fantastic location, very well equipped apartments. Breakfast was also good. it really had it all for an extended weekend with the family. Great pools and very close to the lido which is big and has a park for children and a bar/restaurant. Also the apartments have parking which is great. We literally just walked around the whole time. Really, really enjoyed our time and we will surely be back!

Somehow the internet was a little confusing/difficult to access and i also was a bit surprised that there was just a roll of toilet paper for 3 people 2 days :D

Great place, a little expensive but worth the money.

We booked very short notice (same day as arrival), response and communication re self-check-in was very fast and smooth. Stephania at reception was very friendly and helpful. Appartment was very spacious, modern and clean. Free parking in garage in basement.

That the pool closed already Oct 2. Weather on Oct 3 was still nice and we were hoping for 1 more day.... But we understand that usually it closes already end of Sep. So rather wishful thinking than a complaint.

Nice location, so close to the lake and very nice pool. Apartment was spacious and very modern with nice touches such as blue lighting in the toilets. Nice bar with atmosphere at nearby headland (park) and excellent restaurant close by La Gabella. Probably could try Lido as well just across the river. Good day out in taxi boat to islands at Southern end of lake at pontoon at front of the property.

The weather, it was blowing a gale when we arrived. Double doors from carpark were a pain when unloading from carpark.

Good stay but could be better

We love Golfo Gabella resort's location. Maccagno is a beautiful town and it's a very peaceful place to have family vacation. We loved the pool and poolside bar. Breakfast also included a lot of tasty goodies. The room where we stayed was huge and had side view of the lake and it was very nice to spend evenings there.

We didn't like how little provisions for kitchen / bathroom were given - 1 small soap, 1 toilet paper roll, 1 dishwasher tablet, nothing to wash plates with, 1 bin bag per bin. Luckily we didn't need the kitchen to cook anything, but if we did, it felt very cheap to give just 1 of everything - I wouldn't want to spend holiday money to buy cleaning products for the flat that I'm using for just a week.
