Apella Hotel

Extremely clean, ideal location, superb swimming pool and one of the best Turkish breakfasts I have had. Staff are incredible. Would definitely return. A hidden gem in Cirali

The hotel vibe is just amazing: you live in a small village, surrounded by avocado, mandarin, orange, and pomegranate trees; cats, roosters, and chickens are walking freely in the hotel area; hedgehogs are sneaking around during the evening and night. Despite such surroundings, the hotel facilities are well maintained, and the staff is exceptionally hospitable. It is worth mentioning that the pool there is quite big and the water gets warm during the day. The kids' pool is located right next to it, so you can watch your kids without stepping far from the big one. Keep in mind there are just a few hotels in the area with a pool, and just some of them can compete by price/quality with Appella. The food in the cafeteria is nice and affordable, but I'd highly recommend exploring the village for some places if you want to try something specific. I'd also recommend renting a bike (especially if you are traveling with kids) and having an easy commute around the village: going to the beach, grocery stores, shops, restaurants, mountains, etc. It makes a HUGE difference when you have a bike there!

The only concern I've had while staying there is the "decert" area (see one of the pictures from my review) right on the way to the beach as soon as you leave the hotel. I understand there is very little that can be done there to improve it, but this is something to keep in mind. It gets quite creepy after sunset - very dark and too wild. I'd recommend getting a headset light, especially if you are going to use a bike there.

This hotel is committed to providing an excellent service. Every day, we were greeted by everyone, including the owner, and treated like valued guests. No problem was unsolvable. We arrived late, after the kitchen was already closed, but were greeted with fresh watermelon and cheese. For my son’s birthday, the owner brought him a special cake to complete the celebration. The staff were always occupied, cleaning the premises and serving guests. The restaurant served delicious meals, throughout the day and late into the evening, which were priced favorably to other options around. The grounds were well maintained, the pool was an absolute must in the summer heat, and the treatment of animals (chickens, roosters, dogs and cats) was humane. Everyone felt very relaxed and happy, a perfect vacation!

The property is not located directly on the beach, which we knew, and the walk can sometimes be hot. In summer, it’s best to head to the beach early in the morning or late into the afternoon.

The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the dinner we at there as well. It's a fifteen minute walk to the beach and worth it when you get there but the Apella Hotel has a lovely big swimming pool which we enjoyed as well. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are cleaned daily. Everything was spotlessly clean.
