Penzion Radost

Although we stayed only for 1 night, we had a great stay! Friendly staff, great location and a nice spacey room with a kitchen on the top floor. Thank you!

It's clean, well organized, has a very well equipped common kitchen and can be very quiet if you're lucky. Very good value (single for 30 EUR). The single room is very narrow, but well equipped with chair and table. When construction finishes, in low season, it must be very quiet.

There was construction at the neighboring building, with work Mon-Sat, some days starting at 7am, some days no work at all (Aug 2021). My room looked at the back, to gardens of other houses, it would have been quiet otherwise. The park-facing rooms may be safer from the construction noise and the park is also very quiet at night. I could also hear everything from the neighboring room, despite the walls being brick. There's also a common terrace on the first floor that is a source of noise in good weather. The fridge in the room is also noisy, but you can use the one in the kitchen.

Very good value for money. The room was big, quiet and clean. Bed comfy. Ok, the sofa was not clean, so I didn't touch it much, but that is also understandable. I didn't get breakfast, but I saw it and it looked ok. Receptionist and other staff were nice. Great communal spaces:: big kitchen, outside garden with chairs and tables, terrace. Also a renting bike services. The location is super, in front of the park and very quiet and safe.

The check in closing at 7pm. I sent a friend to pick up the keys, but they should install a different system to access the Penzion after 7pm, like automatic gates or something. Careful, they might do overbooking. So check before you book, maybe giving them a call. I was overbooked and have been asked to cancel my reservation, to which I complaint. Only after complaining, they confirmed me the booking (as per Bookings policy).
