Property details of amenities were misleading to put it politely and to put it bluntly were simply untrue. Very disappointed and we would be wary of booking properties on bookings.com because of it. We booked a room….it said it had a balcony….it did not. It had a metal railing across the window. Details said it had a terrace outside….again…none. No garden area at all. Also a ‘shared kitchen’ fully equipped …washing machine and dishwasher….no shared kitchen and no dishwasher or washing machine. There was a ‘kitchen ‘ in bedroom… to eat breakfast etc…perfect….but who am I sharing it with.??? My private bathroom in the room didn’t say it was a shared bathroom! My kitchen was not shared. There stated that there was a ‘mini market on site’…..not true… I had double checked again and again before I booked my stay about this as I wanted to shop and make food in the ‘shared Kitchen ‘ and sit on the terrace with my family and enjoy a meal! The room on site had a photo of our room but none of facilities that it said. This changed my holiday entirely and I was upset about that. Felt duped. I feel this review is absolutely fair and accurate however if you don’t need what I neeeded from the accommodation pluses are ……. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable with air conditioning.

Our apartment was in a very quiet neighbourhood . The property was clean and felt safe. We just booked an Uber whenever we wanted to go out. It was also walking distance from the Time Out market ( 20 minutes pleasant walk). There’s a supermarket 5 minutes walk away too. The check-in and checkout went smoothly. Paula was very helpful.

The shower head was a little bit too low. So we had to crouch down or take it off the wall and hold it in one hand whilst showering.

I liked the location. It was in a residential area so you got a real experience of Portugal. Safe friendly neighborhood.

Two bathrooms a real bonus

The communication with Paula was great, and she helped with everything. The neighborhood was nice, not touristic at all. Very few stores and restaurants spoke any language other than Portughese. Great for a more real experience, made us feel like locals. Safe area, convenience stores steps away. Available parking on the street.

The room was really small, the mattress really old with springs almost popping out, and the bathroom had a not so great scent, due probably to the older pipes. The place needs a make over. it felt more like a tiny hotel room, not an apartment at all.
